Vendors are invited to submit information relative to their potential of fulfilling the requirement below, in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought.   The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking a vendor to provide RespirAct® RA-MR , a blood gas control system. The system shall allow research to provide precisely target and control PCO2 and PO2 in spontaneously breathing patients. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Boston-Jamaica Plain Health Care System, is in need of a RespirAct® RA-MR System, installation, training, and shipment of required equipment (all components that make up this system). Technical Specifications Salient characteristics of the RespirAct® RA-MR system. All specifications and conditions listed below shall be met in full to be considered. Minimum physical, functional, & performance characteristics: RespirAct® RA-MR system or equal required salient characteristics: Blood gas control system and investigative device used to stimulate vascular reactivity. Designed to precisely target and control PCO2 and PO2 in spontaneously breathing patients and is MRI compatible. Or equal commercially available system shall provide the sa
