Radiological Detection System Supplies
NSWC CARDEROCK
The Navy requires rugged, standardized radiation detection, indication, and computation (RADIAC) equipment to replace legacy survey meters, address parts obsolescence, and maintain radiological safety standards across shipboard and public shipyard activities. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Radiation Detection Technology Branch (RDTB) Code 631, in collaboration with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA 05PRD), requires the production and acquisition of Radiological Detection System (RDS) Base Units, Beta/Photon Probes, and common probe connector cables. Attachment 1, Statement of Work (SOW), provides the National Stock Number (NSN), part numbers, and quantities of the Radiological Detection System equipment requested. The Government requests that any interested parties fill out the attached Market Research Questionnaire (Attachment 2).
