The USCG Station at Cape Disappointment requires repairs, upgrades, and improvements to existing infrastructure and nearby areas to restore and retain full mission readiness. The Station is on an unstable sandbar which has experienced sediment migration into dock and adjacent waterway areas. Dock structures are failing and require repair/replacement. The vessel haul-out facility is currently inoperable due to sedimentation and requires the USCG to conduct frequent maintenance dredging. Haul-out structure is failing and requires replacement.
