Newborn Screenings

The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIO, Eglin AFB FL, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for Newborn Screening for metabolic, hereditary, congenital, and certain environmental risk factors IAW Florida Statute 383.14 for the 96MDG IAW 13.106-1(b) to the State of Florida Department of Health (FDOH), 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Tallahassee, FL 32399-7017. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and will be for one year of performance. The statutory authority which permits sole source for this acquisition is 41 United States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by RFO FAR 12.102(b), as revised by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment Memorandum, ‘Class Deviation—Revolutionary FAR Overhaul,’ effective February 1, 2026.
