GDA’s core mission is to rapidly field defenses that protect Americans and critical infrastructure from this real, complex, and growing threat. These threats include sophisticated ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons, advanced cruise missiles, and other modern aerial systems. To achieve this unprecedented mission within a compressed timeline, GDA will operate as an agile organization with a mandate to leverage commercial innovation. Rapid and flexible contracting approaches will accelerate the adoption of critical technologies, unconstrained by legacy policy and regulatory limitations.
