DMNH 042 - LEVI Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure
Shropshire Council
Overview The purpose of this notice is to inform potential service providers of Shropshire Council’s intention to bring to market its Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund procurement opportunity to deliver additional electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI) in Shropshire. The LEVI funding allows large scale deployment of EVCI by the private sector, under contract to Councils, specifically targeting delivery of an equitable charging network. Forecasts indicate that by 2050, EV adoption will be significant, with an estimated 90% of cars being electric (EVs) across both rural and urban areas. The aim of the Government’s LEVI Fund is to get ahead of this demand, ensuring that access to EVCI is not a blocker to the EV transition, particularly for residents who are unable to charge at home. The Council’s intention is to appoint a service provider (or consortia) to supply, install, connect and operate the EVCI. The Council will utilise LEVI funds to de-risk delivery for the private sector service provider and support the installation of EVCI to meet the level of demand anticipated for 2035. This is an initial market testing exercise to aid the Council in gathering information. It is not an invitation to tender or request formal expressions of interest. A procurement exercise is expected at a future point in 2026, with a view to a service provider being appointed in early 2027 and the first charge points being operational before the end of 2027. It is expected that there will be a 28-week competitive flexible procedure comprising a 4-week premarket engagement phase, a two-stage competition (PSQ and ITT), post tender dialogue , BAFO, final evaluation and moderation , standstill and contract award Background to Charging Infrastructure and LEVI in Shropshire As of October 2025, there were a total of 546 devices across Shropshire, some of which have been delivered under contract to the Council. Initial analysis indicates that more than 550 new devices can be

Electric Vehicle Changes Points in London Borough of Sutton Owned Assets
London Borough of Sutton
The London Borough of Sutton aims to transform the borough into a sustainable, green community by 2027, with the delivery of a robust Electric Vehicle (EV) Strategy as a key priority. This project focuses on the implementation of EV charging solutions at approximately 40 pre-selected off-highway sites, including surface and multi-storey car parks, public parks, and leisure centres. The Council's objective is to provide an initial installation of approximately 180+ chargers (based on anticipated bay allocations) to support residents, local businesses, and the transition of the Council's own vehicle fleet, thereby facilitating a borough-wide reduction in carbon emissions. The Council requires a partner for the full life cycle delivery and management of this infrastructure under a concession contract model, which will involve a shared ownership and funding approach. The council recognises an opportunity to work with a partner to raise income and optimising this is built into the evaluation criteria. The selected contractor will be responsible for the entire EV delivery process, including feasibility and detailed design, supply and installation, and 24/7 back-office operation and support of the charging network. Additionally, the scope includes comprehensive routine and reactive maintenance to ensure the infrastructure remains reliable and modern, alongside the development of a long-term roadmap for network expansion through 2030 and beyond.
Term Maintenance Contract (Engineering & Building Fabric) 2026-2036
Hampshire County Council
The Term Maintenance Contracts provide planned and reactive maintenance to Hampshire County Council (HCC) sites and schools within their (HCC and School's) Service Level Agreement (SLA). The current contracts were competitively tendered in 2017 and are due to expire on 31 July 2026. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks will be scheduled using the SFG20 standard. The Contract will also include a 'helpdesk' arrangement to capture and triage reactive maintenance. HCC owns a substantial property estate, held primarily for the delivery of frontline public services, but also more generally to support the County Council's corporate priorities. The County Council's assets are diverse and include schools, residential and nursing care homes, children's homes, day centres, libraries, waste disposal and recycling facilities, country parks, rural landholdings, and operational farms. The County Council also owns and occupies offices, workshops, depots and storage accommodation, leases other commercial property to businesses and rural holdings to farmers and has responsibility for a wide range of heritage assets including listed buildings and Scheduled Monuments. The desired outcomes of the new contract are to deliver a modern and effective compliance, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance service for HCC. Ensuring good quality, value for money work, is undertaken with a lifecycle approach to asset management. Utilising Concerto and digital tools to facilitate timely and accurate information management and customer interactions.
