The overall aim of a drone Detect, Track, and Identify (DTI) capability is to detect, locate, track, and identify the presence of an uncrewed aerial system (UAS) (and potentially the controller), providing airspace awareness, and enabling them to take relevant action to mitigate any threats posed by the detected drone(s). This Request for Information is part of an information gathering exercise to support future direction and decision making in developing the national drone airspace management and intelligence capability, and to identify the most suitable options for future procurement.

The Authority intends to engage with the market to inform the potential procurement of an integrated physical security capability. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) relies on a diverse and often legacy set of physical security technologies—including access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter security solutions—to protect personnel, infrastructure, and sensitive assets across a wide and geographically dispersed estate. The current technology landscape is fragmented, with a variety of systems installed over time without consistent standards, interoperability, or integration. This fragmentation creates several critical issues: • Limited interoperability and integration: Existing systems typically operate in isolation, preventing real-time data sharing and a unified operational view of security across sites. This reduces situational awareness and slows decision-making during incidents. • Reliance on legacy infrastructure: Many systems are outdated, difficult to maintain or upgrade, increasing operational risk and lifecycle costs while reducing resilience against evolving threats. • Inconsistent capability across the estate: Variation in technology deployment results in uneven levels of protection • Inefficient use of personnel: Limited automation and integration places significant reliance on workforce-intensive processes, reducing efficiency and increasing the burden on already stretched security personnel. • Data underutilisation: Security data is collected but not effectively aggregated or analysed, limiting the MOD’s ability to derive insights, predict threats, and optimise resource allocation. As threats become more complex, hybrid, and technologically advanced, the current physical security technology solution is not adequately positioned to deliver a coherent, scalable, and future-ready defence posture. RFI - Ground Based Radar Testing UK2

The Air Defence & Maritime Radar (AD&MR) Delivery Team, part of the National Armaments Director (NAD) Group, is issuing a Request For Information (RFI) to help inform the Authority’s strategy for this requirement and is NOT part of any procurement procedure. The method used by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to evaluate the detection and accuracy of Air Defence (AD) Radars is through flight checking. A ground-based alternative is being considered to replicate the flight check and improve scientific and engineering rigour around the results obtained. Industry’s responses to this RFI will be used to inform a number of elements in the procurement strategy, such as the Commercial Model, requirement writing and setting, budget and the IP strategy. Should the Authority wish to seek clarification or ask questions in relation to a RFI response, suppliers will be contacted on an individual, case by case basis. The Authority reserves the right to supplement and adjust the prior engagement process to ensure that it meets the Authority's needs. If the Authority makes changes to the engagement process, it will do so in a transparent manner to ensure that all suppliers who have expressed an interest are treated equally. Any participation in this market engagement phase and any response to this RFI is entirely at the participant's cost and risk. The MOD is under no obligation to proceed with a formal procurement or in any other way proceed with the procurement.
Medium Range Precision Strike - RFI 2

This Request for Information (RFI) forms part of the Medium Range Precision Strike (MRPS) Preliminary Market Engagement. Its aim is to give potential suppliers the opportunity to comment on the proposed requirement and the various strategies which will inform this. In issuing this RFI, the MOD is not committing to launch any procurement in relation to the requirement, and it reserves the right to alter its approach to this project prior to commencing any formal procurement process. Any related future procurement activities will be subject to the Procurement Act 2023 (PA 2023). The information contained in this RFI and any further information (whether written, electronic, or oral) supplied by the MOD in respect of this RFI is, and will be, supplied on the condition that the MOD will not be held liable for any error, omission or inaccuracy therein nor for any loss or damage sustained by any party arising as a result of reliance on such information or any subsequent communication, including any error, inaccuracy or omission resulting from any negligent act or omission of the MOD or any other person (other than in respect of fraudulent misrepresentation). No party accepts any responsibility or gives any undertaking to provide further information, including any information required to correct any earlier inaccuracy or error. Any information submitted will be considered only for the purposes of building an understanding of the markets ability to undertake the MRPS project. No information provided will be carried forward, used, or acknowledged for the purpose of evaluating and must be re-submitted as part of the formal procurement process. Information specific to a potential supplier provided through this process will not be shared nor distributed to other suppliers but may inform discussions that the MOD will have with the market and may subsequently be used to inform the terms on which a formal procurement process is conducted. The Northern Ireland Prison Service (NIPS) (the Buyer) is an Executive agency of the Department of Justice Northern Ireland (DOJNI) and is responsible for the management of His Majesty’s Prisons in Northern Ireland. The Prison Service operates under the control of the DOJNI. It is governed by the Prison Act (Northern Ireland) 1953 and the Prison and Young Offenders Rules (Northern Ireland) 1995. The Northern Ireland Prison Service wish to appoint a supplier(s) to supply and deliver a range of uniform items. The Buyer also wishes to appoint a supplier to securely dispose of old and surplus uniform items. The requirement will be divided into 6 separate lots: Lot 1 – General uniform, Lot 2 - Utility uniform, Lot 3 - Uniform with emblems, Lot 4 - Accessories, Lot 5 - Waterproof clothing, Lot 6 - Uniform disposal. The Contract will be for an initial period of two (2) years followed by two (2) optional extension periods of two (2) years each.
