The Framework provides a compliant mechanism for the delivery of routine, reactive and emergency maintenance of structures and coastal assets within the Authority’s jurisdiction. No guarantee of workload or value is provided. The Framework supports statutory duties relating to highway and coastal infrastructure and ensures continuity of safe and operational assets. Assets include (but are not limited to): Bridges Culverts and drainage structures Retaining walls Sea defences and coastal structures Piers, promenades and slipways Associated structural and marine assets Works delivered under this Framework may arise from planned, reactive or emergency situations, with a significant proportion of works typically originating from reactive or emergency events. However, the Framework also supports the delivery of planned maintenance, as well as permanent repair, reconstruction and asset stabilisation works, including works following emergency or reactive interventions.
