Passenger Transport Booking App - Market Engagement

Milton Keynes City Council

Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) is seeking market engagement with suppliers of public transport booking, ticketing and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions. The engagement has two objectives: 1. To assess market interest in providing a booking application for MK Tech Week 2026, supporting the pilot operation of Ohmio autonomous shuttles within Central Milton Keynes. The pilot will provide an opportunity to test integration between autonomous vehicle services and third-party booking platforms, explore passenger management for driverless services, and evaluate the commercial viability of a future flexible transport service. 2. To understand the capabilities of MaaS and integrated ticketing platforms that could support MKCC's longer-term transport ambitions, including franchising opportunities, multimodal ticketing, demand responsive transport, integrated journey planning, data-driven network design, and seamless interchange across transport modes. MKCC invites organisations to share information on their products, integration capabilities, booking and payment functionality, data and analytics services, ticketing solutions, and experience supporting autonomous, flexible, or multimodal transport services. Feedback will help inform the Council's future approach to public transport innovation, integrated mobility services, and network development across Milton Keynes. Any questions relating to this market engagement should be made via correspondence on the InTend website.

Operating across this geographically dispersed, multi site estate, NWLP manages a complex laboratory operating model to ensure safe, timely, and high quality diagnostic testing. As part of ongoing service development and transformation, NWLP is developing a business case to review options for the procurement of a UKAS compliant temperature monitoring solution capable of supporting its multi site operating model. HBC - Aberford Park Brook Improvement

Hertsmere Borough Council

Hertsmere Borough Council ("the Council") seeks quotations from suitably experienced and competent contractors to undertake the design, permitting and implementation of brook and lake improvement works within Aberford Park, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The watercourse within Aberford Park forms part of Tykes Water and receives surface water runoff from surrounding roads and residential areas. At the head of the brook is an oil interceptor, originally installed to prevent pollution from Borehamwood's historic industrial activities. The interceptor has since been decommissioned by the Environment Agency as surrounding land uses have changed and are now predominantly residential, office and light industrial. Surface water currently bypasses the interceptor and discharges directly into the lake. Major restoration works were undertaken in 1999 and 2008, including desilting, reprofiling, fountain installation and refurbishment, and planting works. The Council understands that sediments removed during these works were retained and beneficially reused within the site. Approximately eighteen years have elapsed since the last major intervention. The Council has identified a number of issues requiring remediation: • Increased silt accumulation resulting in reduced lake depth; • Malfunctioning fountains due to sediment accumulation; • Algal blooms and associated odours during summer months; • Excessive reed growth resulting from low flows and seasonal water level variations.

HHFTVF Spectropyrometer Purchase

UK Atomic Energy Authority

The HIVE facility uses a unique spectropyrometer, that measures surface temperature without emissivity data and includes uncertainty. We seek another for the HHFTVF facility. This equipment is to be used on a high heat flux test facility which primarily, though not exclusively, uses induction heating to heat metallic samples in a vacuum. The equipment is required to provide a non-contact temperature measurement through a window of the vacuum vessel. The key point is that for the surface of interest, the emissivity, emissivity profile with temperature/wavelength/surface finish etc. is unknown and/or spatio-temporally changing. The equipment needs to measure surface temperature without the emissivity being inputted by the user. We need this as typical non-contact temperature (thermography) measurements require accurate knowledge of the emissivity of a surface to provide an accurate temperature measurement, but we do not have this information for the surfaces of interest. A detailed list of requirements can be seen in the attached documents, which can be downloaded for viewing.
