Defra is developing a new Science Estates Delivery Framework to support the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) site at Weybridge and provide a flexible, expert and accessible route to market for high containment building requirements at Weybridge. The framework is expected to provide access to a broad range of life sciences construction, infrastructure, construction professional services and specialist services supporting the refurbishment and development of both high-containment and non-containment facilities, primarily utilised at the Weybridge site (though may be available across Defra Group locations and projects). APHA Weybridge is one of the United Kingdom's most significant science and research campuses, providing nationally important capabilities in animal health, plant health and biosecurity. The framework is intended to support a long-term unique and technically complex estate and programme. Prior to initiating any procurement, Defra wishes to engage with the market to better understand supplier market capability and capacity. Feedback received through this engagement will help inform procurement and contract decisions including potential lotting arrangements. The framework may include a range of construction works and services, and the areas identified within this notice are indicative only and have been included to support market engagement. The London Borough of Harrow is planning to invite tenders for the provision of a Fleet Accident Repair Service in the London Borough of Harrow to work on its municipal fleet of around 352 vehicles (162 Minibuses, 68 LCVs, 54 Plant Vehicles/Assets, 51 HGVs, 16 Mopeds, 11 Cars and 7 Mechanical Sweepers). The solution will provide a single, end-to-end platform to manage the complete equipment lifecycle, from referral and assessment through to ordering, delivery, maintenance, collection, decontamination, recycling and asset disposal. The system will support operational teams responsible for the provision of community equipment to adults and children across the Wakefield district, enabling efficient, safe and auditable service delivery. Key functional requirements include service user and referral management, equipment asset and inventory management, order processing, logistics and route optimisation, delivery and collection scheduling, maintenance and servicing management, mobile working, barcode and/or RFID scanning, reporting and analytics, workflow configuration, and comprehensive audit capabilities. The solution must also support integration with existing and future systems through standard interfaces and provide secure, role-based access for Council staff, NHS partners and other authorised users. The Council is seeking a highly configurable, scalable solution that reduces administrative effort, improves operational efficiency, enhances visibility of equipment assets throughout their lifecycle, and supports high-quality, person-centred service delivery. Prior to commencing any procurement process, Rooftop is undertaking this market engagement exercise to explore and better understand the market. The requirement is intended to explore solutions capable of using semantic, conceptual, AI-assisted or other advanced search techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patent searching, whilst maintaining examiner oversight and decision-making. The engagement will seek supplier feedback on available technologies, service models, security approaches, commercial models, routes to market and procurement considerations. Particular emphasis will be placed on the handling of confidential patent application information and the protection of customer data within AI-enabled solutions. As part of wider plans from the West Country Water and Environment Group (WCWE), two projects are in early planning and development, namely the Poole Water Recycling and Transfer Project, and Cheddar 2 Reservoir and Transfer. This Preliminary Market Engagement Notice refers only to the Poole Water Recycling and Transfer Project, led by Wessex Water, however a separate Preliminary Market Engagement Notice has been concurrently issued by South West Water for the Cheddar 2 Reservoir Project. A Planned Procurement Notice reference 2025/S 000-037909 https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/037909-2025?origin=SearchResults&p=1 has previously been published in relation to this Project. It is Wessex Water's intent to procure a Competitively Appointed Provider (CAP) to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new Poole Water Recycling and Transfer centre under the Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) model. At this stage the Project scope comprises a new 30 Ml/d Water Recycling Centre at Corfe Mullen, together with ancillary associated works including transfer from the existing Poole Water Recycling Centre to the new Water Recycling Centre at Corfe Mullen, creation of new wetlands, and discharge pipelines. Provision of plant, machinery, and operatives for the excavation and standing of wood poles and/or associated stays. 2. Trenching, installation, repair, and testing of earthing systems; trenching and installation of service cables; and construction of joint bays at the base of overhead line poles operating on: - Low Voltage (up to 1000 V) - High Voltage (11,000 V) - Extra High Voltage (33,000 V / 66,000 V) networks The Works may include: - Activities undertaken on the Public Highway and where specified, excavation and reinstatement works.
