A procurement is being considered for the provision of an Independent Medical Advice Service (IMAS), which will deliver independent, expert medical advice to support asylum and wider immigration decision-making. The service will support caseworkers in circumstances where medical evidence is presented, and specialist clinical input is required to inform decision making. Advice may include consideration of physical and mental health matters relevant to individual cases. The Authority is seeking to engage with organisations capable of delivering responsive, reliable and independent medical advisory services, providing objective medical input to support operational decision making. The anticipated service scope may include: • Independent clinical review and advice based on submitted medical information. • Provision of medical opinion to support casework decision where clinical expertise is required. • Delivery of advice within agreed service standards and timescales. • Appropriate clinical governance, quality assurance and information handling arrangements. The purpose of this engagement is to better understand market capability, capacity, delivery models, and commercial approaches available to support the future service. The service supports the Health Board’s out of hours palliative care medicines supply arrangements, ensuring that patients requiring urgent end-of-life medication can access treatment promptly and remain in their preferred place of care wherever possible. 2025 - 1079 Pitched Roofing Upgrade Project at Abberley Close, Redditch

Citizen wishes to tender for the provision of replacement pitched roofing works to twelve (12) two-storey residential blocks at Abberley Close, Redditch, including all associated works such as rainwater goods, loft insulation, chimneys and associated enabling works, to ensure that we receive an excellent service, which represents value for money. We are seeking to procure the services of suitably experienced service providers with the capability to deliver the required services and who best meet the need of Citizen and its customers. We have partnered with Marley, they have carried out a survey of the roofs and provided a technical specification. The estimated value of the Project is £290,000 over the duration of the agreement. Citizen requires that the contract must be fully completed by no later than 31 March 2027, subject to satisfactory performance against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs). Bidders must demonstrate in their tender submission how they will ensure delivery within this timeframe. Section 20 (S20) applies to this contract. We invite you to register if you can cover any aspects of field data collection as follows: -Survey work such as National Forest Inventory (NFI) and Trees Outside of Woodlands (TOW) -The installation of surveying/monitoring equipment for our National Capital Ecosystem Assessment (NCEA) work -Suppliers who can help with our Forest Mensuration and Production surveys (such as U18), Forest Attribute Surveys to update GIS information, collection of data from experimental sites. If you are specifically interested in the surveying work, successful suppliers will be required to undertake surveys such as but not limited to the following examples: Woodland surveys, Forest production and Forest attribute surveys, Storm and Windblown damage survey. We are particularly interested in suppliers who have experience using GIS technology, handheld GPS devices, field survey techniques. We would like to also have the option to explore the use of future ancillary technologies such as Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and terrestrial based LiDAR. We do not expect all suppliers to be able to provide all services, not all of these skills will be required for each mini-competition. Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) Retainer Block Pilot

Reading Borough Council is undertaking a soft market testing and engagement exercise to explore a new commissioning approach for securing local foster care capacity through a retainer based block model. The Council is seeking early engagement with Independent Fostering Agencies (IFAs) to test whether this approach is viable in the current market, particularly in relation to the availability of carers within a 20 mile radius of Reading Civic Centre, and to understand whether the model is operationally practical and commercially attractive to providers. This exercise will also support a co design process with the market, enabling providers to help shape and refine the proposed model, service expectations, and delivery approach ahead of any potential procurement. The Council is particularly keen to work collaboratively to ensure that any future model is realistic, deliverable, and aligned with market capacity and provider insight. This PIN forms part of a structured pre procurement engagement process and is intended to inform decision making on whether to proceed to a pilot and how the model should be designed. Following widespread engagement with ICBs, national and regional teams, and external stakeholders, in November 2025 the NHS Strategic Commissioning Framework was published and in February 2026 the NHSE Executive approved the establishment of a two-year funded programme of development support to strengthen commissioning capability in line with the Framework. The purpose of this procurement is to secure a supplier who can deliver 'Commissioning in Practice - Applied Action Learning' This will be a structured action learning programme and on the ground support with circa 100 participants from every ICB with local system partners as well as places for commissioners employed currently by NHSE taking teams on a journey towards commissioning differently for population health. There will also be opportunities for all members of the ICB and wider system to take part in peer learning and at scale masterclasses, scale webinars and e-learning. These will cover the whole commissioning cycle and enablers as outlined in the NHS Strategic Commissioning Framework including understanding and quantifying need (qualitative and quantitative), developing strategy, setting outcomes, market assessment and development, capitated payment models, contract management and evaluation. Due to the nature of the different skills that will be required to deliver this programme NHS England are encouraging consortium bids.
