Southwark Council is looking to procure a Security service to ensure building and occupant safety across 5 supported hostels in the borough: Manor Place, Jo Richards House, David Barker House, Northcott House and Keyworth Street Hostel. Support is given in a range of complex support needs from domestic violence, substance misuse, mental health and offending. The full scope of the services to be provided is set out in the Specification issued within the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document. However, the focus of the Service is on providing out-of-hours security cover at the supported hostels with Security staff primarily responsible for ensuring that the building and occupants are safe and secure. Hours of service are as follows: a. Monday to Friday 20:00 to 08:00 (Daily) b. Saturday & Sunday 08:00 - 08:00 (Monday) - Please note 24-hour cover at weekends c. Public Holidays 08:00 - 08:00 (the following working day) - Please note 24-hour cover A minimum of two officers to be deployed at each hostel at any one time. The Supplier shall be responsible for the provision of gender appropriate security staff to meet the supported hostels’ security requirements including at the female only hostel. The Contract is for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend for any period or periods up to a maximum of two (2) further years.
APPOINTMENT OF A PRINCIPAL CONTRACTOR FOR THE 'REDISCOVERING TAVISTOCK ABBEY' PROJECT

Summary Tavistock Town Council as Client and Accountable Body invites tenders from a Principal Contractor with the relevant skills and capability in heritage and conservation projects to take the lead role for the grant funded repair, refurbishment and new public access, lighting and signage enhancement of Betsy Grimbal's Tower (Grade 1 (No.1326209)) and Still House (Grade 2 (No.1105870)) buildings located on Plymouth Road in the town centre. Provided on Tavistock Town Council website to assist with the submission are drawings showing elevations and work details, pre-construction Information, details of preliminaries, schedule of works and archaeology reports. The estimated budget allowance for this project for the Principal Contractor's fees is between £325,000 to £375,000 plus VAT. With contract administration being managed by Le Page Architects, the project will also include working alongside Structural Engineers (estimated £3,700), Archaeologist (estimated £10,000) and Ecologist (estimated £5,000). The Principal Contractor's roles and responsibilities are to undertake the capital grant funded fabric works which will be executed JCT Building Contract as well as liaison with the other appointed professional consultants listed above. (the Framework). The Framework will consist of 2 lots a) Lot 1: The Design, Supply and Installation of Solar PV in Commercial Properties in Sunderland up to 50Kwp. b) Lot 2: The Design, Supply and Installation of Solar PV in Commercial Properties in Sunderland Greater then 50Kwp. Suppliers may bid and be placed on one or both lots of the framework. Whilst the scope of the framework is structured predominantly for installations in operational commercial properties, the Authority may from time to time require an installation in a domestic property. In such instances the call off will be clearly identified as a domestic property installation and will be issued through the relevant framework lot. Depending on each of the individual call off requirements there may be a need for the inclusion of battery storage, and this will be incorporated into the Employers Requirements for each call off. Integrated Healthcare Services to Haslar Immigration Removal Centre (IRC)

NHS England South East (NHSE) (the Commissioner) is seeking to commission prime-provider led integrated healthcare services at Haslar Immigration Removal Centre (IRC). IRCs provide primary medical services to foreign nationals awaiting decisions on their asylum claims or awaiting deportation following a failed application. Interested providers should have the capacity and capability to provide an outcome focused, integrated and patient centred primary healthcare service, equivalent to that available to the local community, for the IRC. The service will deliver a comprehensive range of services in-house, to include physical health, mental health, substance misuse and dental services; please refer to the service specifications(s) for a full list of services. NHSE will hold a contract with the prime provider, who in turn can directly provide care and/or subcontract care to other specialist providers. Haslar IRC is located in Gosport, Hampshire and is due to have a maximum operational capacity of 600 male residents. The initial operational capacity, over the first three years of the contract, is expected to be 130 residents. Post this term of the contract, there is expected to be an incremental increase in occupancy, as residents are placed there, ramping up to full operational capacity. The Contract term is expected to be 7 years and 6 months (inclusive of the mobilisation period). The maximum total contract value (exclusive of the mobilisation period) is £19,052,186. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central & West (SCW) on behalf of the commissioners. SCW is currently subject to restructuring, and the management of this procurement may therefore move to a successor at some point during the procurement process. Bidders will be informed of any such change, and any administrative changes because of it.

The Contractor will be suitably qualified and have a wealth of experience to provide the services required for the duration of the Framework. Each further competition will refine and enhance the information contained to meet the exact requirements of the Contracting Authority (CA). The CAs property stock may consist of; domestic houses, sheltered housing schemes, bungalows, blocks of flats, community and leisure centres, hospitals, student accommodation, universities, schools, depots, corporate office buildings, commercial properties and any other building types owned by the Contracting Authorities. Tenderers shall be deemed to have submitted their application with a full understanding of the unpredictable nature of the scope and volume of work. No guarantee is given regarding continuity or overall value; therefore, tenderers will not be entitled to claim for loss of profit, or any other costs resulting from an alteration in the scope or volume and must allow for seasonal or other variations to workloads in their tenders. It is worth bidders noting that most works procured under this framework will be for projects up to £250,000. There will only be a very small number of projects that may exceed this value.
MOPAC: Training Provider for the Community Scrutiny Transformation Programme
