Waste Collection Calendar - Hand delivery to properties
Wigan Council are seeking a suitable contractor to arrange the Solus (by hand) delivery of approximately 147,000 calendars across the Borough of Wigan. The calendars are area specific since they inform residents which bin to put out on which day for their individual property, reflecting the bin collection rounds. Wherever possible, the calendars consolidate a number of collection rounds, where the same bins are collected on the same day in the same area (albeit by different collection crews). At the time of tendering there are approximately 18 different calendar types with different collection days (Tuesday to Friday) and different date sequences for the different colour bins. The number of properties covered by a calendar range from approximately 2,500 to around 13,000 properties. Rounds that cover large apartment complexes and rural properties are excluded.
Single-molecule counting and digital quantification of RNA molecules instrument
The Contracting Authority requires a multiplexed molecular analysis system capable of performing direct, amplification-free, digital quantification of gene expression (mRNA and miRNA) and protein targets from limited and potentially degraded clinical samples. The system will be used primarily for patient-derived specimens, including FFPE and other clinically archived materials, where RNA quantity and integrity may be limited. The solution must therefore demonstrate high sensitivity, reproducibility, and robustness to sample degradation. The required system must provide a complete sample-to-data workflow, enabling end-to-end processing, automated or semi-automated operation, and integrated data analysis suitable for use by scientific staff without advanced bioinformatics expertise. To access this opportunity, you must first register as a “Supplier” on the Authority’s e-tendering portal here: https://atamis-1928.my.site.com/s/Welcome

TEC Enabled Discharge Monitoring Service
This is a further competition under Lot 2 of the Health Innovation Framework Agreement. The Technology-Enabled Discharge Monitoring Service is a digitally led support model designed to facilitate the safe discharge of very low-acuity patients from hospital who would typically be discharged with no structured follow-up or monitoring. The service provides a light-touch, technology-enabled layer of reassurance and observation during the immediate post-discharge period. It is intended to demonstrate the potential value of passive digital monitoring in identifying early indicators of reduced activity, potential wellbeing concerns, or environmental inactivity that may warrant further review. Importantly, this service is not a clinical service and does not provide clinical monitoring, assessment, or treatment. It is not a virtual ward, nor is it a substitute for community healthcare services. Instead, the model places emphasis on digital first infrastructure and automated insight, with minimal clinical intervention limited to oversight, advice and signposting.

GLA Third Party Resident Support
The GLA is delivering the Warm Homes: Local Grant Programme in partnership with 30 London boroughs. To strengthen delivery, the GLA is exploring running a pilot project to better understand how community organisations can support vulnerable residents throughout the retrofit process. The aim is to improve the resident experience and reduce dropout rates. Identification of eligible households and installation of measures will be managed by the GLA and its delivery partners. Community organisations would focus on resident‑facing support, from initial engagement through to installation. For example, this could include helping vulnerable residents understand their energy assessment, providing tailored advice on recommended measures, supporting form-filling, offering in‑home or remote guidance during installation, and ensuring residents feel informed and confident throughout the process. This preliminary engagement seeks to understand capacity, capability, delivery models, and potential challenges within the market. It may be undertaken in multiple stages following completion of the questionnaire stage. Insights will inform the future procurement strategy, including potential commissioning options. Approach To shape the design and delivery of the pilot project, we invite organisations to complete a short questionnaire. The purpose of this exercise is to gather market insights on: Potential service delivery models Capacity and readiness to deliver Opportunities and challenges within the supply chain Considerations for future procurement (Note: we are not seeking to duplicate existing services. Instead, we aim to fill gaps in provision. For example, where organisations currently offer telephone advice funded through other schemes but cannot provide in‑home energy advice or hands‑on resident support.) This exercise is for information‑gathering only. It does not constitute a commitment to procure, and participation will not preclude suppliers from future procurement opportuni
