Þjónustan felur í sér framleiðslu og flutning á tilbúnum hádegisverðarmáltíðum fyrir nemendur og starfsmenn vegna Grunnskóla Hornafjarðar. Nemendur eru í kringum 250 og starfsmenn 20-40. Fjöldi nemenda og starfsmanna getur sveiflast lítilsháttar á milli skólaára og verður fjöldinn endurskoðaður í samráði við birgja í upphafi hvers skólaárs. Miðað er við allt að 180 daga á skólaárinu sem hefst að jafnaði upp úr 20. ágúst ár hvert og lýkur um í byrjun júní.
