Private Joint Stock Company “Ukrhydroenergo” (PJSC Ukrhydroenergo or UHE) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Ukraine – Improving Power System Resilience for European Power Grid Integration (Installation of Hybrid Systems for Electricity Production in PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Design, Supply and Installation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Ancillary Equipment at Kyiv HPP/PSP, Kaniv, Kremenchuk and Seredniodniprovska Hydropower Plants, including related services (training of UHE staff). The BESS is intended for provision of ancillary services to the national grid. For this contract, UHE intends to process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. 2. PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” now invites Bids from eligible Bidders for design, manufacturing, supply and installation of the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Ancillary Equipment, including testing, commissioning and training of UHE staff in operation
