PfH Decarbonisation, Retrofit and Planned Works Framework for Wales
Procurement for Housing
PfH Cymru (Procurement for Housing Wales) wishes to establish a Wales-specific Decarbonisation, Retrofit and Planned Works Framework Agreement. Established in 2004, Procurement for Housing (PfH) is a national procurement consortium dedicated to the social housing sector and supported by the National Housing Federation (NHF), Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and HouseMark. Collectively our Members manage more than 90% of the UK's social housing stock, with PfH helping them to achieve efficiency savings using a wide range of services including framework agreements, dynamic purchasing systems, spend analyses, strategy reviews, consolidated billing and comprehensive reporting. PfH is a contracting authority under section 2 of the Procurement Act 2023 and a centralised procurement authority under section 1(4) of that Act. THOR magnet cooling system

CHIMERA is a planned test rig that aims to replicate the conditions inside a nuclear fusion reactor, excluding the radiation component. Magnets (static and pulse/vertical field magnet) are to be installed as part of the first phase of CHIMERA’s installation (dubbed “THOR”). Cooling systems will need to be implemented to continually maintain four cryogenic compressors for the static magnet (SM), and to cool the VFM.

Third party spend on goods, works and services is on average £20m+ per annum varying from small one-off purchases to large works or service contracts. Runnymede Borough Council is seeking a single Contractor for the replacement and refurbishment of communal boiler plant and associated equipment at two Independent Retirement Living schemes Properties: Floral House (59 flats) and Heathfields (30 flats). The works comprise the removal and replacement of three communal boilers in total, associated pipework, hot water cylinders (calorifiers), and related plant room equipment. The contract will be delivered across both sites concurrently over an anticipated 14 weeks programme, Runnymede Borough Council ("the council”) invites responses for the provision of this requirement (specification supplied (Schedule B)) in accordance with the terms & conditions (Schedule A), and the terms as set out in this document.

EEM0067 - Fire Safety, Security & Entry and Access Systems Framework

EEM are conducting this tender exercise to procure a Fire Safety, Security & Entry and Access Systems Framework to replace our existing EEM0037 Framework (expiring 29th August 2026) and EEM0067 Framework (expiring 23rd October 2026) into a single, consolidated Framework. The Framework will provide EEM Members with a provision for Fire Safety, Security and Entry and Access Systems Framework Services delivered via this Framework will be to domestic and commercial properties. Domestic properties will typically be consisting of a mixture of domestic housing stock, bungalows, blocks of flats, and sheltered housing schemes as well as garages, and depots and any other building owned and/or managed by our membership. Commercial properties will include but not be limited to business units, office buildings, hospitals and care facilities, academies, schools, colleges, universities, education centres, student accommodation, homes and care facilities for older people, children's homes and centres, community centres, leisure centres and gyms, libraries, pavilions, changing rooms and public toilets, outdoor leisure facilities, car parks, industrial units, depots, and garages.
