Environment Agency Natural Flood Management Programme Phase 2 - Swan Brook Wetlands Year 3
THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR PLACES OF HISTORIC INTEREST OR NATURAL BEAUTY
The Swan Brook Wetlands project comprises a range of Natural Flood Management measures to be installed at three National Trust owned and tenanted farm project sites. The overall aim is to increase water retention in the headwaters of the Swan Brook and reduce flood risk downstream. NFM measures proposed are specific to each location and include low earth bunds, in-field scrapes, roughening features, leaky dams and areas of floodplain reconnection. It also includes the construction of access and associated drainage infrastructure. Multiple strategic benefits are expected. Contractors will be chosen based on capacity, capability, relevant experience of delivering NFM interventions, proposed solution and cost. This project is funded by the Environment Agency as part of the £25 million Natural Flood Management Programme. • The project is funded by Defra • The programme is managed by the Environment Agency Full details of how to apply are in the attached Request for Proposals document. A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is an electronic system established by a contracting authority to purchase commonly used goods, works or services in accordance with the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Admittance to a DPS gives participants the opportunity to subsequently bid for relevant future opportunities which are procured through the DPS. The purpose of the DPS is to provide a compliant route to market for FLS to procure services which are unable to be provided through existing contracts or to replace contracts which have terminated or expired. The scope of the DPS is primarily for restoration operations including but not limited to: - Site Rewetting and Associated Services including peatland rewetting and hydrological restoration, hag and gully restoration, and mulching; - Specialised Peatland Harvesting including specialised tree removal for peatland restoration, mechanical mulching, and brash and timber management; - Supporting works including chainsaw works, temporary watercourse crossings, creation of access tracks, and supply and installation of associated materials.

Αντικείμενο της συμφωνίας πλαίσιο είναι η παροχή υπηρεσιών Προληπτικής και Επανορθωτικής Συντήρησης, που θα εκτελείται από τον Ανάδοχο σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες συντήρησης του κατασκευαστή, τις προδιαγραφές του εξοπλισμού και αυτές που θέτει η Αναθέτουσα, είτε γενικά είτε για το κάθε αντικείμενο ξεχωριστά. Οι ανωτέρω υπηρεσίες θα εκτελούνται από εξειδικευμένο, στο κάθε αντικείμενο, Προσωπικό του Αναδόχου (για το οποίο και φέρει την ευθύνη εξεύρεσης και τεχνικής του επάρκειας) με τη χρήση κατάλληλων υλικών, αναλώσιμων ή ανταλλακτικών.
