The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire (OPCC) is considering future options for the provision of its Criminal Justice Related Drug and Alcohol Service for Adults. We would therefore like to invite suppliers to participate in the preliminary market engagement process. This exercise is purely for the purpose of information gathering in order to inform the procurement strategy going forward. It should be noted that any future purchase will be subject to a full competitive tendering procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. A full specification of technical, functional and non-functional requirements would be provided within the tender documentation. The Criminal Justice Related Drug and Alcohol Service for Adults service has been commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for a number of years. The current contract is due to end on 31 March 2027, and we are therefore considering future options. The service supports adults entering the criminal justice system who are experiencing drug and/or alcohol misuse issues. It provides advice, information, signposting, and referrals to appropriate treatment and support services. The service is delivered by a Supplier that works closely with police custody staff. Detainees who receive a positive drug test while in custody are referred to the Supplier for a mandatory assessment. The Supplier also works with probation services, assessing offenders who are being considered by the courts for a community treatment requirement and determining their suitability for such orders. The contract values provided in this notice are estimated and for indicative purposes only. Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 collectively constitute the Wiltshire Integrated Sexual Health Service (WISHS) so Wiltshire Council is seeking qualified Service Providers to deliver a comprehensive Integrated service under distinct specifications. It ensures that the council meets its statutory duty for the provision of short breaks during school holidays, providing both fun activities and opportunities for children with a disability and enabling parent carers a break from their caring responsibilities.

Learning and Wellbeing Surveys – 662-NYC-HA

North Yorkshire Council has delivered a biennial Health, Wellbeing and Lifestyle Survey for children and young people since 2006. The survey and associated reporting have been developed to provide reliable data that supports the identification of priorities for education, health and wellbeing services, and informs planning, commissioning and resource allocation across North Yorkshire. Survey findings are shared with participating schools, Children and Young People's Service teams, elected members and partner organisations. The reports are used to support strategic planning, service evaluation and the targeting of resources to improve outcomes for children and young people. The Authority is now seeking information from providers capable of delivering a school-based survey across primary, secondary and special schools throughout North Yorkshire. The survey is undertaken every two years with pupils in Years 2, 6, 8, 10 and 12. Responses from recent surveys have typically ranged between 15,000 and 17,000 pupils.

2026 - Aberdeen City Council - Dual Sensory Support Service

Aberdeen City Council has a requirement for the provision of a fully accessible dual sensory service across Aberdeen City for adults aged 16 and over. The duration of this contract is from 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2024, with two potential one-year extensions. The Service shall offer support to individuals who have a range of issues relating to sight and hearing impairment and it shall also extend to the families and/or carers of Supported People. The Service shall also seek to raise public awareness around issues relating to sensory loss, train and educate professionals, as well as influence planning decisions to improve accessibility. It is envisaged that the Service will provide varying levels of support, ranging from intensive support, for example, social work assessments, to low level, for example, newsletters. Interventions may be required at short notice and on an ad hoc basis therefore the service to people with a sensory loss needs to be responsive to need. The Service Provider will also maintain a register of visually impaired people on behalf of the Council.

Floating Housing Support (Long-Term Enduring Mental Health; LD, Autism and Care Leavers)

The London Borough of Hackney are seeking a provider who can provide a new Floating Housing Support service for residents of Hackney who have long term mental health conditions including learning disabilities and autism. This will be for the existing cohort supported by the current provider and new referrals from the Mental Health Service. This will also be open to young people with one of these diagnoses and who are 18+ and transitioning from leaving care to Adult services and require support to maintain their independence and avoid homelessness. The new Floating Support Service specification has been developed to now include a clearer requirement for the service to include people with Learning Disabilities and Neurodiverse clients, adding requirements such as Sensory Informed Environments. The service will run for 7 years (5+1+1).

SOL Specialist Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Intervention & Disruption Service 2027

Solihull Council is looking to commission a Perpetrator Intervention & Disruption Service which will play a key role in reducing and mitigating the impact of domestic abuse in Solihull as part of its Perpetrator Tiered Approach to Intervention model. The commissioned Service will provide co-located Domestic Abuse Senior Practitioners within Children Services and Adult Social Care Teams, and Solihull Community Housing, providing on the ground specialist expert advice and guidance to risk assessments, support planning and management in relation to cases where domestic abuse is present and a concern. This will include outcome advice, such as signposting, referrals or escalation, which will support an increase in perpetrator disruption tactics. The Provider will also deliver multi-agency training to equip staff with tools and knowledge around Domestic Abuse key themes. The Service will work with Children Service’s, Adult Service’s and Solihull Community Housing, and other organisations where capacity allows, to provide them: Case surgeries with specialist consultation, assist professionals with their approach to safe practice, risk assessment, and appropriate interventions suitable to individuals and the needs of families. Attendance at complex case reviews, strategy meetings, and /or allocation meetings to support professionals in their assessment of risk and potential safe responses to identified families whereby Domestic Abuse is a factor. Support and advice on modelling and planning home visits enabling professionals to assess and respond appropriately to Domestic Abuse, considering all individuals impacted and affected. The Children and Families service in the London Borough of Hackney plans to engage with organisations from the voluntary, community, and independent sectors throughout this year to shape the procurement of a Framework for Disabled Children's Services in 2026. This market engagement is in preparation for the upcoming procurement. The services will be categorised into 5 separate Lots: Home and Community Based Outreach Support Services delivering personalised support both in the family home and enabling disabled children to access their local community, facilities and services. This includes support to access and use universal services offered to all children and young people. Specialist Outreach Support Offer a structured program of social, recreational, and developmental activities suitable for children with a wide range of disabilities, including severe learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities. Since 2014, City Hall has invested in embedding youth workers into London’s hospitals, first in the four Major Trauma Centres (MTCs), and subsequently (in 2018) in eight of London’s Accident & Emergency (A&Es) Units. Since 2023, this programme of work, referred to collectively as hospital-based youth work (HBYW), has been overseen and managed by the VRU, although VRU investment in HBYW extends back to its establishment in 2019. Prior to the VRU, this programme and investment had been overseen and managed by MOPAC within City Hill, aligned to the Mayor’s Police & Crime Plan (PCP). The HBYW programme represents a violence reduction initiative, heavily aligned to the VRU’s own violence reduction strategies, most notably: the trusted relationship between a young person, and their youth worker, as well as the concept of place, reaching young people where they are, and, in this case, leveraging a reachable moment in the lives of young people to break patterns of violence and harm. Indicative Contract Value: £4,633,792 ex VAT for the initial contract period, with a potential extension value of up to £4,633,792. Contract Duration: January 2027 – March 2029 (27 months), with the option to extend for a further 24 months. The Trust wishes to award a Contract with one provider to deliver Personal and Social Care (Domiciliary Care) to people living with dementia, in the housing support model at The Croft; 24 co-located self-contained units on a single site.
