Leicester City Council is commissioning the provision of Let’s Get Growing Service (LGGS) Leicester City Council is seeking a provider who will build on the success of the previous food growing programme in the city. Its aim will be to develop community food growing opportunities, harnessing the skills and talents of the growing community and increasing knowledge and skills in communities that may have limited access to nature-based activities such as growing food and socialising outdoors with others. The service provider will focus on the sharing of good practice through a variety of workshops, training courses and networking events, highlighting the benefits of food growing, ecotherapy and an awareness of green spaces to help prevent ill health and improve the physical and mental health of the local community whilst strengthening their resilience. The programme will also focus on increasing social inclusion, encouraging communities to engage with all aspects of food growing from seeds through to harvesting and sharing and using their produce. The proposed Contract will be for an initial period of 3 years, commencing 1st April 2027 to 31st March 2030 with an option to extend to 31st March 2032, subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the Authority, taking the contract term to a maximum of 5 years ending 31st March 2032. The estimated contract value is £300,000 excluding VAT and 360,000 Including VAT.

The Hudson Building Extension Project

The Hudson Building was built for purpose in 2015. The proposal is to erect a 2-storey extension to one end of the existing building to provide more space for bricklaying, plastering etc, whilst also installing new painting and decorating booths to the first-floor area. The overall scope also includes the demolition of the current painting bays to provide a further expansion capability for carpentry and joinery as well as the installation of 2 classrooms to allow for non-practical teaching in the area. All plans have been agreed & signed off by the relevant curriculum specialists as being suitable for their requirements. The intended outcome of the process is to determine the most advantageous tender (MAT) and select a single contractor to undertake the works. Works are to be carried out in compliance with all applicable UK regulations and British Standards, with particular regard to the operational demands of a Further Education campus environment. West Sussex County Council (WSCC) is continuing to explore options to expand and improve temporary accommodation across the county, with a strong focus on promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing of people who are homeless, as well as refugees and migrants in need of housing support. We are particularly interested in working with providers offering privately owned accommodation and independent settings, alongside more traditional provision. Due to increasing demand, we are now actively inviting accommodation providers and property owners to come forward and engage with us. The Council is seeking to engage with providers who can secure or supply temporary and emergency accommodation, as defined by Part VII of the Housing Act 1996, for individuals and households experiencing homelessness. This engagement will help inform a potential future procurement process. The Refugee Resettlement & Migration Service at WSCC works closely with central government, including the Home Office, to support refugees and migrants to safely resettle and integrate into local communities. As demand for accommodation continues to grow—including for people arriving from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Sudan, and other contexts—we are keen to build partnerships that increase the availability of safe, suitable, and sustainable housing across West Sussex. Reabling home care workers will work alongside clinical staff from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and social workers and assessors from Lambeth Council to provide short term support to people following a period of ill-health or hospital admission to rebuild their independence. Contract value is based on an hourly rate for support delivered, with an indicative volume of 28,500 hours per year. The successful provider will maintain a presence at the Intermediate Care Lambeth base at Ackerman Health Centre, Patmos Road, SW9 6AF and will attend regular multidisciplinary team meetings. The service operates across the full geographical extent of the London Borough of Lambeth. Please note the contract opportunity offered is for five years, with the option of two 1-year extensions. Asylum Seekers have historically been accommodated within the Belfast City Council boundary for a variety of reasons including to support reporting to the local Home Office and access to immigration legal support. Dispersed accommodation along with a number of hotels being used for contingency accommodation is now being procured outside of Belfast City Council area. Derry City and Strabane District Council area is now a dispersal area outside Belfast for the resettlement of Asylum Seekers and Refugees. The Executive Office provides funding to District Councils to deliver on Community Hubs and support services for Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) previously delivered programmes for Asylum Seekers and Refugees which is outlined below. This Community Hubs Project will build on this work and enhance the services provided for Asylum Seekers and Refugees in the DCSDC area. Traffic Signals Framework

The Authority is exploring the establishment of a multi supplier framework agreement to support the delivery of traffic signal schemes across the North Yorkshire Council administrative area. The geographic scope will include urban, semi urban and rural locations, and suppliers may be required to deliver works at single or multiple sites concurrently. The framework is intended to support a range of traffic signal works varying in scale, value and complexity, from straightforward renewals and minor upgrades to more complex junction and networked signal schemes. The anticipated volume of works and final duration of any future framework have not yet been determined and will be informed by the outcome of this market engagement exercise. To reflect differing levels of complexity and risk, the Authority is considering structuring the framework using a complexity led lotting model, with further subdivision by delivery approach. The proposed structure is outlined below.
