Flow injection analyser (FIA)
Strategic Procurement
The University of Auckland requires an automated flow injection analyser for the determination of nutrient concentrations in seawater. The flow injection analyser measures concentrations of phosphate, nitrate, nitrite and ammonium (silicate optional) in seawater samples through colorimetric and fluorometric methods. The analyser can be a continuous flow analyser (CFA) or a segmented flow analyser (SFA) and needs to able to detect concentrations to a nanomolar level in oligotrophic seawater samples. An autosampler needs to come with the instrument for automation of sample analysis. Support expectations: We require an automated nutrient analyser that has a long (>ten years) expected product support lifetime and offers local (Auckland-based) and online technical support. Onsite comprehensive operational training is an essential part of the support required.
Marlow Park Destination Playground Upgrade

The Dunedin City Council (DCC) wants to upgrade the current Destination Playground at Marlow Park to be a modern, inclusive playground. The DCC has worked closely in partnership with mana whenua through Aukaha to develop the concept design for the new playground. We want to engage a single Supplier to take this project from concept design to completion of the physical works. The Supplier will: • Finalise a design in partnership with the DCC and Aukaha design team for Council approval • Lead detailed design and the development of construction drawings • Support the selection and procurement of off-the-shelf play equipment • Support the design, fabrication, and procurement of bespoke play equipment • If selected at the preferred design, lead the rehabilitation of iconic existing play equipment • Undertake appropriate safety and structural assessments • Undertake quantity surveying to ensure the final design remains within budget • Lead fabrication, landscaping, construction and the installation of play equipment The proposed upgrade of the wider playground presents a unique opportunity for a Supplier to partner with the DCC on a project that will having a lasting positive impact on the community for generations to come. It is desirable this work is completed by 30 June 2027, and we want to engage with a contractor who will make this happen.

Due to the volume and complexity of activity required, the Programme has been split into two phases: HUP1: Phase 1 was completed in 2019 and resulted in 2490 upgraded bedspaces and 940 upgraded properties across 62 buildings. HUP2: Phase 2 is a $511 million (incl GST) investment over 10 years and has been structured into five tranches for a phased and strategic delivery approach to support tenants throughout the programme lifecycle. This ROI is designed to identify suppliers operating at this level. Suppliers who cannot evidence experience and capability in delivering multi-site, multi-regional programmes and cannot meet all Preconditions should not respond. Suppliers wishing to respond to both opportunities must therefore submit two response forms, one for each service. To enable independent validation of design decisions, costs, and programme delivery, the two contracts for Architectural Design OR Project Management service will NOT be awarded to the same supplier. The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is seeking proposals for an Accounts Payable (AP) Automated Invoice Data Extraction Solution to modernise and enhance its invoice processing capability within the TechnologyOne Ci Anywhere FMIS platform. MPI intends to replace its current manual and fragmented invoice intake and processing approach with a highly automated, intelligent solution that improves data extraction accuracy, reduces manual handling, and enhances end-to-end visibility and governance of Accounts Payable processes. MPI is particularly interested in solutions that leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to continuously improve performance over time, adapt to changing invoice formats and supplier behaviours, and support increasing transaction volumes. The planning for this procurement opportunity is currently underway, and is subject to being finalised and approved to formally engage the market. Metro Substations Upgrade - HV cable route construction

The Metro Substations Upgrade project is to enable the new RS1 train timetable as proposed by Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC). Due to the planned increase in electric trains, KiwiRail need to construct five new substations to improve resilience and reliability for the power requirements for the new timetable. We wish to obtain the services of a contractor who can construct duct routes and install 33kV and 11kV cables between the Electra Paekākāriki Zone Substation (ZSS), Paekākāriki Traction Substation (TSS), and the new North Junction TSS within the Wellington Electrified Area. The work will be primarily mid-week but there will be requirements to work weekends during ‘Block of Lines’ (BoL) to complete some of the scope within the rail corridor. We are seeking a reliable contractor with the capability, experience and capacity to support the design and deliver all installation and cable pulling activities associated with the cable route solution. Strong civil construction expertise and proven experience in high-voltage cable installation and pulling are critical to this project.
