Whakatāne District Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the delivery of the Tāneatua Road Resilience Works, comprising pavement rehabilitation and resilience improvements within the Whakatāne District. The works are outlined on the drawings appended to the contract documents and generally comprise of the following activities: Confirming the final design levels – final design co-ordinates and survey data will be supplied to the winning tenderer upon award of the Contract. Earthworks, including cut and undercut to waste. Surface water channels and associated drainage work. Granular pavement construction. First coat sealing (two coat chip seal). Guard railing. Service relocation. Reinstating traffic services and rehabilitating disturbed areas. In addition to the above, the Contract Works include: Preparing, implementing and managing the Contract Quality Plan according to the Project Specification. General requirements, programming and reporting according to Project Specification. Site safety, traffic management and environmental compliance activities according to Project Specification.
Te Poutama Water Treatment Plant

Water at Te Poutama is supplied by an onsite bore. The water is currently untreated and the facility uses bottled water for drinking purposes. The key objective is to install a robust yet simple and reliable water treatment system that will bring the water supply to a continuous safe drinking standard. The system and the water will comply with both the Water Safety Act 2021 (WSA) and Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules (DWQAR). We seek proposals for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a water treatment system at Te Poutama Youth Justice Residence in Christchurch. Stantec developed the basis of design and performance requirements for us. Respondents must complete and return the non-disclosure agreement, attached separately, to get access to the Stantec plans and get the site address. A site visit is included for pricing purposes.

BOPLASS Ltd is a Council Controlled Organisation owned by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council, Rotorua Lakes Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Kawerau District Council, Tauranga City Council, Opotiki District Council, Whakatane District Council, Taupo District Council and Gisborne District Council and has been established to promote shared services between local authorities in the Bay of Plenty/Gisborne regions and elsewhere. This contract applies to Aerial Imagery purchased under contract on behalf of the following councils: • Bay of Plenty Regional Council • Rotorua Lakes Council • Western Bay of Plenty District Council BOPLASS Ltd wishes to acquire digital aerial imagery and vector data over selected areas of the region covered by its constituent councils. This data can be categorised as high resolution (0.2m GSD) rural aerial photography. Details of the evaluation will be confidential to the Principal and their evaluation will be based on the information supplied. The Principal’s decision shall be final. The Principal reserves the right to request clarification of information, if so required. The primary purpose of the digital aerial imagery is as a backdrop for GIS applications and as a guide for GIS spatial data capture. All orthophotography will be provided in New Zealand Transverse Mercator 2000 projection (NZTM2000). The datum is New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000).
