REQUEST FOR INFORMATION RFI# 2026-02 - Public Safety Communications Headset Objective The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is solely to gather information regarding headset ecosystem solutions suitable for Toronto Police Service (TPS) Communications operations, including compatible replacement parts, equivalent components, and complete replacement configurations that can support call takers, dispatchers, supervisors, Police Constables, training environments, and backup-site workstations. Respondent Participation TPS encourages participation from potential suppliers in this RFI process and should include a written response that is relevant to this RFI. RFI Intent The intent of this RFI is solely to gather information and does not form a competitive bid process or legal offer. In the event the TPS is satisfied that there is sufficient interest, availability and feasibility of providing suitable solutions, the TPS may, but is not obligated to initiate a competitive bidding opportunity. It is important that respondents understand that this RFI document and their participation by responding is not interpreted or construed as a solicitation for tenders or proposals, but rather an information gathering exercise. TPS encourages participation from potential solution providers in this RFI process, the information collected will be reviewed by a committee. The Pardee Lab seeks a biophysical molecular interaction analysis instrument to support quantitative characterization of biomolecular binding by measuring real-time binding kinetics (on-rate, off-rate) and affinity (KD), analyte quantitation, and competitive inhibition (Ki) measurements, across the range of biomolecules produced and engineered.
