The Time for Completion for the whole of the Works shall be no longer than 9 months or 12 months for multiple lots. The Ministry of Education and Training now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for retrofitting and new construction of school facilities at the above location. Retrofit works include structural strengthening, architectural replacement and improvements, electrical replacements and improvement and the construction of new facilities at each school lot. A pre-Bid meeting shall take place at the following date, time and place: 10:00am local time at the Ministry of Education and Training (MET) Conference Room, on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026. Submission of Bids Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 02:00pm, 23rd October 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. This Project is funded by a USD 10M System Transformation Grant (STGs) financed by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). This Project is a continuation of the on-going engagement under System Capacity Grant for Education Sector Plans, Enabling Factors Analysis, and Partnership Compacts in the OECS (P179416). The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and will be executed over a period of five years. The financing will be used for the procurement of goods, civil works, related services, and consulting services required for the implementation of the project’s objectives. The project is structured into four major components. Each component contains specific types of procurement activities that will be carried out under this financing. These are summarized below: Component 1: Improving access to inclusive quality education infrastructure This component focuses on addressing the infrastructure gap in rural and underserved communities. It includes: Construction, renovation, and repair of approximately 30–35 preschool and school educational facilities in remote and disadvantaged regions. Rehabilitation and upgrading of existing schools to improve safety, inclusiveness, and climate resilience. Supply and installation of school furniture and essential classroom equipment.
