I december 2023 modtog Norddjurs Kommune tilsagn om tilskud på 12,2 mio. kr. fra Miljøministeriets kystpulje. Sammen med kommunens egenfinansiering udgør det samlede budget 42,05 mio. kr. På den baggrund blev der igangsat et udbud vedrørende udarbejdelse af blandt andet projektforslag og afgrænsningsnotat til en miljøkonsekvensvurdering (VVM). Formålet med dette udbud er at udpege en totalrådgiver, der skal gennemføre miljøkonsekvensvurdering af den samlede stormflodsbeskyttelse samt varetage projektledelse, projektering og udførelse. Please note that the INITIAL project forming Framework for this regional / sub - regional office NW West Area will be a Development on Letterkenny University Hospital campus comprising Ambulatory Oncology, Surgical Hub and 72 Bed Ward accommodation and associated infrastructure at Letterkenny University Hospital. Phase One of the development will include construction of the ambulatory oncology department and the surgical hub, as well as shell space for future fit out.
