Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Upgrade Chiller Plant Construction project at the Northport VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work includes general construction and alterations, of the existing chiller plant and includes the necessary removal of existing building components, systems, construction and installation of certain other items. The project will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 work shall be completed and fully operational, supporting the medical facility, before a notice to proceed with phase 2 work will be issued. The project includes the installation and maintenance of a temporary chiller plant to support the Medical Facility during construction. All temporary installations shall remain in service until the end of the project s startup of the new chiller plant and final acceptance. The Stegall Substation Stage 07 Phase 01 Construction Project enhances WAPA’s ability to provide reliable/cost-efficient electrical power by replacing end-of-life control building, disconnect switches, and oil circuit breakers. New gas circuit breakers are on site and ready for installation by the contractor. WAPA benefits from these replacements by resolving deteriorating and potentially dangerous equipment conditions while setting up the substation for future Phase 02 conversion to breaker and a half bus configuration. The principal components of work include the following: Replace 115kV circuit breakers, 230 and 115kV disconnect switches, re-conductor 230 and 115kV main bus, construct new control building and comm tower Location: Stegall Substation Situated near Stegall Road in the unincorporated community of Stegall, NE, just north of the Colorado-Nebraska border. The Defense Logistics Agency is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract for Febuxostat Tablets. Procurement details follow. Febuxostat Tablets: 40 MG and 80 MG Tablets in 30 count bottles. This will be an unrestricted and fully competitive acquisition. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a one-year base and four one-year options. A contract resulting from this solicitation will establish a national supply source, in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (Requirements), to provide the items listed in the schedule for purchase by Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Bureau of Prisons, and Indian Health Service customers through the DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The Federal Railroad Administration’s (FRA) FY 2026 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) solicits a variety of applied research projects that will support Department of Transportation and FRA strategic objectives. The research needs are in the three FRA research areas: Track, Rolling Stock and Equipment, and Train Control and Communications. The BAA consists of several research topics for potential contractors to submit concept papers for FRA’s review. We recommend full and open competition for the FY 2026 BAA. Concept papers are approved if they meet the objectives of FRA research topics in the BAA. Contractors with approved concept papers will have the opportunity to submit a proposal for possible contract award. This effort extends for a period of 15 months, therefore the response date is anytime within the 15 month period. No concept papers will be reviewed after the ultimate deadline of 9/30/2027. However, this announcement is subject to periodic Amendments updating the status of available research topics. Once a research topic becomes unavailable, the research topic will be removed from the announcement allowing the available research topics to gain more visibility.
