Projekt obsega hidravlično izboljšavo vodovodnega sistema OKP1 OSREDNJI in izgradnjo novih povezovalnih vodovodov v skupni dolžini 11.985 metrov, vključno z izgradnjo povezovalnega cevovoda Kozje – Podsreda, vodovoda v naselju Ješovec, hidravlično izboljšavo cevovodov Dobležiče, Gubno, Buče 1 in Buče 2, ter izgradnjo novega vodohrana Podsreda in vrtine K-2/88 z vodnim virom. Z izvedbo projekta se bo omogočila boljša hidravlična uravnoteženost sistema, večja varnost oskrbe in priključitev dodatnih uporabnikov na javno vodovodno omrežje.
