Request for Information (RFI) For The Provision of a Supplier Data Directory Service
Ministry of Defence
New Zealand Defence has no current system or service that provides a validated, centralised source of supplier information. We are considering procuring this as a managed service from an established provider that already owns and operates the platform. The ideal scenario is that New Zealand Defence would not build or own the system; it would have access under a licence supported by relevant service level agreement. The buyer would have full licence to use the data as required in the delivery of its normal duties. The service is intended as a “plan and source” capability: helping us discover suppliers and understand the market, rather than as a tool for contract-management or other type of evaluation system. This Request For Information relates to the possible purchase of a managed Supplier Data Directory Service.
