Amenment 0001- Site Visit sign in, question responses, SOW amendments This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the project titled Upgrade Water Tanks at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all materials, labor, and equipment to complete the project in accordance with the Statement of Work and Drawings. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall restore and modernize FCI Texarkana’s water storage and distribution system. This includes complete rehabilitation of the 1,000,000‑gallon ground water tank and 150,000‑gallon elevated water tower, replacement of all pumps, piping, valves, and hardwired control panels, and installation of a fully air‑gapped analog monitoring system. All work must meet AWWA, NFPA, OSHA, NEC, and federal security requirements, followed by comprehensive testing, certification, and a 5‑year system warranty. The performance period for the project will be 336 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of the project lies between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 237110 with a corresponding small business size standard of $45 million. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your System for Award Management (SAM) registration. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside. You must be registered in www.sam.gov as a small business for the applicable NAICS code (see FAR provision 52.219-1 in the Representations & Certifications section of your sam.gov registration. Agencies may contract without providing for full and open competition when the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The project will consist of work associated with the environmental maintenance dredging of the Monguagon Creek Upper Trenton Channel located in Riverview, Michigan. There are no options included with the solicitation. The channel is situated just south of Bridge Road and the Grosse Ile Toll Bridge. The primary goal of the project is to remove contaminated sediment from Sediment Management Area 1 (maximum 4 feet depth) and Area 2 (maximum 25 feet depth). Approximately 28,100 cubic yards of material is planned to be removed using mechanical dredging means with transport and placement of the contaminated dredged material into Cell 5 of the Pointe Mouillee Confined Disposal Facility (CDF). Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA), operator of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), is soliciting quotations for the rental of a mobile, two-stage concrete crushing and screening system at the BNL Borrow Pit in Upton, New York. The requirement includes a track-mounted primary jaw crushing plant and secondary impact crushing/screening plant for a thirty (30) consecutive calendar-day rental period. The rental shall include delivery, setup, commissioning, operator familiarization and training, technical and repair support, and removal of all Contractor-furnished equipment at the end of the rental period.
