Next Generation Hypersonic Cruise Missile Industry Day
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
9 October 2026 : The Questions and Answers received during Industry Day held on 22 September 2026 can be found under the Attachment Section of this notice. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Tactical Technology Office (TTO) will host an Industry Day to brief potential proposers on the objectives of a future Next Generation Hypersonic Cruise Missile (NGHCM) program. This event precedes the planned release of a Program Solicitation (PS). Advance registration is required to attend.
Atomically Precise Molecules (APM)
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative proposals in the areas of new synthesis techniques for polymeric materials and nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in material synthesis with the ability to scale to quantities relevant for application integration, culminating in the development of a prototype demonstration of a revolutionary NLO material integrated into a functional government-provided electro-optic modulator. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice, or research that pivots on exceptional claims that cannot be technically justified in the proposal. This includes: • Proposals aiming to employ solely inorganic materials without a polymeric component • Proposals aiming to modify/repurpose existing NLO materials resulting in incremental improvements to the state-of-the-art (SoA)
High-throughput Unmasking of Biological Interactomes with Binding Landscape Emulators (HUBBLE)
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting proposals to develop an in-silico capability for mapping all protein-protein interactions. Utility of this capability will be demonstrated in identifying novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets within the interaction space underlying including traumatic brain injury.
Intrinsic Market Resilience (IMR)
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
The evolution of markets from physical trading floors to interconnected, electronic venues has introduced new speed, transparency, and efficiency, but has also created new attack surfaces and systemic risks. Modern markets, which host trading for everything from equities and bonds to energy and cloud computing resources, can be manipulated in ways unanticipated by their designers. The 2010 United States Equity market "flash crash" and the 2000-2001 California energy crisis demonstrated how weaknesses in a market's public interfaces could have dramatic consequences. Similar design issues in today's complex, interacting market systems could be used to cause economic damage, which the IMR program technology seeks to prevent. The IMR program aims to develop repair methods to protect essential economic sectors against devastating attacks that exploit the public interfaces of modern markets. Current legal and regulatory protections focus on deterring profit-seeking manipulation and ensuring compliance, but they do not sufficiently protect markets from adversaries aiming simply to cause disruption. The IMR program seeks to address this gap by developing the tools to automatically model market designs, identify hidden weaknesses, and recommend and analyze repairs on the market models to make markets fundamentally more resilient to attack. IMR aims to combine Large Language Model (LLM)-based automation with rigorous modeling and analysis to identify remediations for market weaknesses. The program will develop formal notations to precisely describe how markets operate and coordinate, creating machine-analyzable models from informal descriptions like regulatory filings and technical specifications. Against these models, IMR will formulate and assess "resilience conjectures” - mathematical statements about desirable market properties, such as the inability for actors to manipulate prices without risking loss. By automatically analyzing these conjectures, the program aims to pro

This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) seeks revolutionary research ideas for topics not being addressed by ongoing IPTO programs or other published solicitations. Potential proposers are highly encouraged to visit the IPTO technical office page (https://www.darpa.mil/about/offices/ipto) to view current and upcoming IPTO programs and solicitations in order to avoid proposing efforts that duplicate existing activities or that are responsive to other published IPTO solicitations.
RFI for Next Generation Hypersonic Cruise Missiles
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) will be used to refine the Government's technical requirements, validate programmatic assumptions, and inform the acquisition strategy for a potential competitive Program Solicitation (PS). The primary intent of this RFI is to inform industry of a potential new DARPA program and to encourage innovative contractor/subcontractor teaming arrangements between traditional and non-traditional defense contractors, technology developers, and specialized test and evaluation (T&E) providers prior to formal solicitation.
Disruptioneering Program Announcement
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
The mission of the DARPA DSO is to identify, investigate, and leverage nascent scientific advances for national security applications by pursuing high-risk, high-payoff research initiatives across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines. Disruption Opportunity (DO) topics are issued to rapidly investigate new concepts with focused investments. DOs enable DARPA to initiate a new investment for unclassified efforts in less than 120 calendar days from idea inception. To enable this approach, DSO will issue individual DOs under this solicitation. These opportunities will target specific technical domains important to DSO’s mission to pursue innovative research that leads to a prototype demonstration. More information about DSO’s technical domains and research topics of interest may be found at https://www.darpa.mil/about/offices/dso.
HUBBLE Industry Day
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
UPDATE: The purpose of Amendment 1 to DARPA-SN-26-121 is to update the event type to an Industry Day. The Biological Technologies Office (BTO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is hosting an Industry Day for the potential proposer community in support of a planned Program Announcement (PA) for the “High-throughput Unmasking of Biological Interactomes with Binding Landscape Emulators” (HUBBLE) program. The Industry Day will be held on September 25th, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in person at the SPA Arlington Research Collaboration Center (SPARCC) at 4075 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, Virginia 22203. A hybrid option is available for those who are unable to travel for the event, however, all presenters must attend in person. Advance registration is required. Note: all times listed in this announcement and on the registration, website are in Eastern Time.
MXO Office-wide Innovative Solutions Opening
DEF ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGCY
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) anticipates funding multiple proposals on a rolling basis under this solicitation. Specifically excluded is research that primarily results in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. The Multi X Office (MXO) at DARPA regularly publishes solicitations requesting responses to specific program topics. This announcement seeks revolutionary research ideas for topics not addressed by ongoing MXO programs or other published DARPA solicitations.
