North Northamptonshire Council
North Northamptonshire Council is seeking to appoint a lead Service Provider to deliver a comprehensive Integrated Healthy Lifestyles Service (IHLS) in North Northamptonshire, with elements of subcontracting permitted to support residents to make sustainable changes to the key modifiable risk factors across the adult life course, enabling them to live longer in better health, whilst achieving a reduction in inequalities between communities. The service will seek to address key modifiable risk factors that contribute to preventable ill-health. The service will have a primary focus on physical activity, diet and excess weight, strength and balance for falls prevention and earlier identification of increased risk of developing long-term conditions. The service will introduce a central triage function to improve access and referrals into healthy lifestyle support, along with an expanded range of interventions to support behaviour change. The service will include a range of interventions organised into three core pillars: Pillar 1: a universal self-help pillar comprising of health promotion campaigns and digital self-help tools Pillar 2: a behaviour change pillar providing health coaching support to address the in-scope risk factors Pillar 3: a structured treatment pillar targeting reducing inequalities through provision of community falls prevention, an enhanced behaviour change support, and a targeted NHS Health Checks programme in workplaces and specific communities. This procurement process is being managed by the Council in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract for this project will be awarded via the Competitive Process, subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.

Scope Description The Elizabeth Line is London's newest railway line running from Reading in the West through to Shenfield in the east through the middle of London. The operating of the railway is split into a number of teams carrying out maintenance and other activities on the network on a number of different shift patterns. Each of these teams have different roster patterns that are currently organised by a combination of methods. This investigation seeks to identify a single tool that will plan, adjust and report on staff rosters. Effective workforce planning is critical to ensure: - Safe and timely execution of maintenance activities - Efficient deployment of resources. - Compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, in particular the requirements of the Office of Rail Regulator for fatigue risk assessments to be carried out and recorded where workers shifts meet requirements for duration, rest period and a number of other factors. Objective of the proposed solution We are exploring the implementation of a digital solution to support workforce rostering, planning and scheduling. The Framework will provide Participating Institutions with access to suppliers capable of delivering a broad range of building maintenance services to support the safe, efficient and compliant operation of buildings and estates. The site is to be planted with tree saplings of a variety of species and spacings, at approximately 290,000 trees over the 169ha. This project is subject to relevant regulatory approvals, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and may be subject to change, 19ha of the site is still subject to contract completion and may not be included in the final contract. Fields have been drilled with low-maintenance grass sward, and planting lines will be marked prior to planting. Trees will be supplied by Forestry England and could be a mixture of cell and bare root saplings. A small percentage of trees will be planted in tree guards in low-density planting. Site is largely vehicle accessible through farm trackways with suitable inside storage barn available on site.
