Path renovation
Wincham Parish Council
Scope of Work The Wincham Parish Council (WPC) wish to upgrade the Linnards Lane Playing Field. The plan includes the resurfacing and widening of the existing path and installing chicane fencing at the Ashgate Lane entrance. This WPC is looking for this project to be completed in the summer of 2026. The WPC has a Project Strategy with a number of key steps in order to ensure that the correct level of planning and preparation goes into the plan. Part of this is to ensure that the funding, scope of work, Quality and Health and Safety (H&S) is adequately controlled and managed. Widen and resurface existing path to modern standard The existing path is estimated to be 216 metres in length and runs along the northern part of the playing field from the Birch Grove entrance to the Ashgate Lane entrance and then turnSee Figure 1 which provides an aerial view of the playing field. The requirement is for the refurbished path to be accessible to people with limited mobility, wheelchair users and people with sensory impairments. The path width shall be such that there is room for two wheelchairs, or two people, side by side. Any gradient steeper than 1:20 is considered a ramp and therefore the path should be adjusted accordingly. The Construction Contractor shall temporarily remove any existing park benches and waste bins away from the area of work and subsequently replace them in suitable locations, to be agreed with WPC. The Construction Contractor shall remove the vegetation and topsoil to widen the path to 2.5 metre width (the topsoil is to be stockpiled on site for later use). The Contractor shall break out a trench adjacent to the existing path to create the wider path. The arisings shall be taken off site by the Contractor who shall comply with all the necessary Environmental Requirements necessary for the scope of work including Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) testing for generated material if exported. The path and any ramps should have a slight cross-fall to shed water
Food Waste Disposal (Anaerobic Digestion)
Wolverhampton City Council
Following the Simpler Recycling announcement in October 2023, the council is developing a new food waste service for implementation in line with statutory requirements from 31 March 2026. The council anticipates that its weekly food waste collection service will service all 114,000 properties via a mix of kerbside collections requiring both an internal food waste caddy, and a communal type collection service where internal caddies will be required for all properties, along with a communal type of external container. The City of Wolverhampton Council anticipate the requirement to dispose of between 5000 and 10000 tonnes of food waste (residents who recycle their food waste are unlikely to be able to capture it all). Further compositional analysis work will be undertaken by the council in the coming months to confirm this. No food waste delivered and received by the Provider shall be directly for disposal other than by anaerobic digestion. Once collected or delivered, the contracts will ensure that the waste is disposed of, or recycled, in a manner that is compliant with current waste legislation and aims to increase the Council's recycling rate.

Building Safety Higher Risk Buildings Works - Framework Agreement
Portsmouth City Council
Portsmouth City Council ('the council') is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for inclusion onto a multi contractor framework that will be used to provide building safety projects for several higher risk residential buildings and a mix of medium to low rise residential buildings within the Portsmouth area. TIERING The framework will consist of up to 6 contractors. This will include a 'Primary Tier' of up to 4 contractors and a 'Secondary Tier' of up to 2 contractors to provide contingency. Should less than 6 compliant tenders be received, then the council reserves the right to establish the framework with a lower number of contractors or tiers. DURATION The Council is aiming to have established the framework by September 2026. Once in place the framework will run for a duration of 4 years extendable by up to a further 2 years in increments to be agreed to a maximum term of 6 years. VALUE & PRICING The value of the framework is estimated to be in the range £60m - £120m over the maximum 6 years based upon Portsmouth City Council's Building Safety Programme for high, mid and low rise works from 2025 to 2030. The framework, although primarily for delivery of projects that cover high rise buildings with higher construction value works, will also cover approximately 30% of the Council's low - medium rise blocks in order to package up phases of work by consideration of geography and/or efficiencies, with the remaining 70% let via other arrangements. Whilst the project and pipeline of works are designed to provide a representation of the likely value of works procured through the framework, the actual values of call offs may vary, hence there is no minimum or maximum values for call-off contracts, and no commitment can be made in this respect. Although the call-off contract values may differ, the core work will be of a similar nature, i.e. of high complexity, requiring a high level of engagement from the contractor and requiring significant resident engageme

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FROM Private Entities
UNDP
UNDP-AFG-00823-REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FROM Private Entities/financial institutions (Banks, Microfinance Institutions-MFIs)1. BackgroundUNDP has been working in Afghanistan for more than 50 years to address challenges related to livelihoods, governance, resilience, climate change, health, and rule of law. Through its flagship Area Based Approach to Development Emergency Initiatives (ABADEI) programme, UNDP, together with UN agencies, NGOs, and civil society partners, supports integrated community-based interventions aimed at restoring essential services, revitalizing local economies, strengthening livelihoods, enhancing resilience, and reducing humanitarian dependency. Complementing ABADEI, the Access to Finance (A2F) Project promotes financial inclusion and private sector recovery, with a particular focus on underserved groups, especially women-led MSMEs. Following the socio-economic crisis in Afghanistan, women-owned businesses have faced severe challenges, including business closures, limited market access, supply chain disruptions, and restricted access to formal financial services, with less than 7 percent of women holding bank accounts. In response, UNDP, in partnership with UN Women, is launching the Afghanistan Women’s Enterprise Resilience Fund (AWFRE), an innovative Shariah-compliant subsidized lending initiative designed to improve access to affordable finance for women-led MSMEs. The initiative combines microloans with business development support, financial literacy, and capacity building to strengthen women’s economic resilience, protect livelihoods, and promote sustainable community recovery.2. OBJECTIVE This Request for Information (RFI) is issued to national and international private financial institutions (banks, MFIs) to explore potential partnerships with UNDP for delivering development outputs requiring expertise in the provision of Sharia-compliant microloans to savings groups and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across variou
