RALEIGH EDUCATION TRUST

Raleigh Education Trust is currently out to tender for the provision of a full daily ICT Managed service. The Contractor will be responsible for the provision of a full Trust ICT service for the pupils and staff at their nine school sites. The Trust requires a Contractor to undertake the ICT Managed Service in accordance with good practice so as to provide a high service standard throughout the Trust for the benefit of school staff and pupils, the local community and any visitors to the sites. There are currently six schools within the Trust in various locations, increasing to nine by September 2026. The schools currently receive onsite and offsite technical support from one technician provided by the incumbent supplier. There are over 1500 pupils on roll across all sites for the academic year 2025/26. TUPE is expected to apply to one member of staff, details of which can be found in the tender documentation. There are no employees in the ICT team that are members of the Local Government Pension Scheme. The Trust is inviting suppliers to tender for the supply of management and support for its entire ICT infrastructure. Only suppliers who are able to manage the complete cycle of support and management of all of the school’s ICT infrastructure, and can provide excellent support, development and management thereafter, should express an interest in the opportunity.

The Council has not undertaken preliminary market engagement in accordance with Sections 16 and 17 of the Procurement Act 2023, having assessed that it was not required for the nature and scope of this procurement. The Contract will be tendered using the open procedure under the Procurement Act 2023. Anticipated works type to be undertaken under the proposed contract: • Carriageway Resurfacing • Cold Planning, reusing, recycling and disposing of arisings • Adjustment and replacement of Utility Company chamber covers and frames • General footway and carriageway works, including patching, repair, reconstruction and refurbishment • Reinstatement and replacement of Road markings and road studs • Drainage improvements, including (but not limited to) road Gully and Pipework Replacement • Public information exercises and advance notice of any works, including stakeholder engagement and communications (e.g. leafleting, press notices to be agreed with the Service Manager). • Confined Space Entry • Implementation and Monitoring of all Traffic Management requirements, compliance with Traffic Management Act noticing requirements. • Utility searches as and when required • The Services include the design of proprietary materials, products, or methodologies where required to Provide the Services. • Site investigations including drainage CCTV investigations and road coring. NHM150 Western Galleries - Base Build Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health

Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum has announced important transformations of its internal spaces ahead of the 150th anniversary of the opening of the South Kensington site, occurring in 2031. As part of these transformations, the popular Dinosaur Gallery will be restored, and the Origins Gallery, the Old General Herbarium and the Swing Space, currently closed to the public, will be reopened and returned to public use. These galleries are identified collectively as the' Western Galleries'. The works in each gallery will be articulated in two phases: base build, which is the object of this tender, and fit out, which will be tendered separately. The first works to commence will be the Swing Space in Autumn 2027 (base build) for an opening in 2028, followed shortly after by the Botany Library and the Old General Herbarium, due in 2029, Dinosaur Gallery, opening in 2030, and Origins Gallery that will be completed in 2031. A Feasibility Study has just been completed both for base build and fit-out leading to the identification of a set of recommended options for the base build and a set of design principles for the fit-out. The base build works for all the galleries in scope will encompass design and works for (high-level scope, including but not limited to): - Conservation of the gallery spaces - Making good of the fabric of the building - Removal of redundant services - New ventilation and heating / cooling system and associated Building Works in Connection (BWIC) - Mechanical, electrical and public health systems - Creation of new plant rooms to support the increased needs of the spaces - Required structural works Additional works (including but not limited to): - Clearance of existing spaces - Dismantling and removal of Dinosaur Gallery walkway, with relocation of connected existing service. - Decant and recant of Botany Library contents - Temporary relocation of Dino Shop - Decant and relocation of offices to make room for the new circulation core - Conservation of existing

Rossendale Borough Council is seeking to establish a multi-supplier Reactive Repairs and Small Works Framework to support the maintenance and repair of its property portfolio. The framework will cover a wide range of reactive repairs, emergency response works, and minor planned works (typically up to £10,000 per order) across commercial buildings and a limited number of domestic properties managed by the Council. The framework is divided into 15 trade-based Lots, including: - Joinery - Roofing - Bricklaying and stonemasonry - Plastering - Painting and decorating - Building labourer and handyperson services - Flooring - Plumbing - Electrical - Automatic door engineering - Roller shutter door engineering - Groundworks - Drain jetting (with operator) - Jet spray cleaning - Tree works Each Lot is structured into three service categories: A - Standard (core hours, Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00) B - Emergency response (2-hour attendance within core hours) C - Emergency response (2-hour attendance outside core hours) The Council intends to appoint multiple suppliers per Lot: - Up to four suppliers for standard core hours work - Up to three suppliers for emergency and out-of-hours response The framework will operate as a closed framework with provision for a refresh at the end of year two, allowing suppliers to re-submit pricing and new suppliers to apply for inclusion, in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. Once established, the framework will enable the Council to directly award call-off contracts for reactive repairs and small works without the need for further competition, in accordance with the framework terms. The framework duration will be up to four years (initial two-year period with an option to extend by two further one-year periods).

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

This Tender is being published to support the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund, which is a major UK government initiative, administered by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), designed to support local authorities in England to roll out electric vehicle public charging infrastructure. The scheme aims to assist residents without off-street parking in transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs). The Authority has been awarded £10,111,000 for the provision of public EV Chargepoints from the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Capital fund, funded by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles. Additionally, the Authority has secured £400,000 from the LEVI Pilot fund specifically for the delivery of lamppost-integrated Chargepoints. Delivery of the Pilot project has been included as a required element in this tender to ensure there is an integrated and consistent approach to EVI provision. The Authority's contribution towards the works required to deliver the Contract is £10,511,000 which is aggregate sum of the LEVI Capital fund the LEVI Pilot fund as set out above. This Procurement and subsequent Contract is offered and will be delivered as a single lot covering the whole county. The Authority's desire is that installations can be balanced across the more commercially viable and the less commercially viable areas across the county. An experienced CPO with the technical expertise to deliver at the required scale and at pace is vital for a contract of this size. Modelling conducted for the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Strategy link: 'https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/media/945415/the-lancashire-and-blackburn-with-darwen-electric-vehicle-infrastructure-strategy.pdf' supported by forecasts from Cenex and Transport for the North, indicates that Lancashire will require a minimum of 6,200 charging Sockets by 2030.
