The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (USACE) is seeking contractors to renovate Building 736 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Building 736 is a 40,640 Square Foot (SF), three story, permanent construction barrack facility was built in the 1960s and currently houses basic training/one station unit training (BT/OSUT) trainees. A design was completed by the Kansas City District Corps of Engineers in April 2019 and updated in accordance with UFC changes in June of 2024. This requirement will consist of selective demolition and renovation and modernization of one barracks building and associated sitework at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This project includes renovation of a 40,640 SF Barracks Building and construction of an addition of approximately 3,000 SF addition to the building, and associate fine grading, landscaping, and other site work per the plans and specifications provided.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Enterprise Dredge Delivery Center (EDDC) requires a contract to perform maintenance dredging of three (3) dredging projects. The areas of consideration for these dredging services are Calcasieu Bar River Channel, Pascagoula Harbor, and Panama City Entrance Channel.In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 7.107-3, the Government intends to consolidate three contracts for maintenance dredging of Calcasieu Bar River Channel, Pascagoula Harbor, and Panama City Entrance Channel performed by a large business. The consolidated effort will be solicited as unrestricted. The consolidation of the three identified projects is in the best interest of the Government. This consolidation meets the requirements of RFO 7.107 and the benefits of the consolidated acquisition would substantially exceed the benefits that would be derived from an alternative approach. Therefore, the Government found that consolidation is necessary and justified. The solicitation is anticipated for release on or around 23 October 2026.

The U.S. Army recognizes that investments in producibility and advanced manufacturing will need to continue to be made to support a vast array of crucial activities, including but not limited to acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and ultimately the Army’s Modernization of its Organic Industrial base (OIB). In order to deliver impactful operational results, the US Army must modernize the OIB, particularly in the areas of Agile / flexible facilities, connected digital enterprise, advanced manufacturing, Digital Twin, automation, and cyber security. DEVCOM has coined these technologies collectively as Convergent Manufacturing. With the focus on both “new capabilities” and “operational constructs” convergent manufacturing technologies will accelerate the OIB’s capability to get advanced solutions to the Warfighter while enhancing and optimizing the Defense Manufacturing Base for today and tomorrow’s missions. This CSO will utilize a solicitation process authorized by DFARS Subpart 212-70. Under this CSO, the DoD will be allowed to competitively procure innovative commercial items, technologies, and services. CSO procedures provide a streamlined acquisition process and simplified contract terms resulting in FAR-based contracts awarded under Part 12 Commercial Item Procedures. Both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors may be awarded contracts under this CSO.
