Hokitika Airport Resilience Project (HARP) – Airfield Ground Lighting
Westland District Council
What we need This ROI is issued by Westland District Council, referred to below as “WDC”, “we” or “us”. The Hokitika Airport Resilience Project (HARP) aims to increase the overall resilience of the airport by improving the airports’ ability to support regional airline aircraft at higher weights and passenger loadings in a wider range of weather conditions and during and post major natural hazard events – such as the effects of the anticipated Alpine Fault rupture (AF8). In doing this, WDC hopes to improve and protect the runways assets, including the Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) system and be in a position to provide AGL services without the need for Grid tied or Generator supported AGL systems. What’s important to us? • Local presence in New Zealand - Including the ability to respond within 24hrs for servicing. • Flexibility of installation and maintenance - Being somewhat isolated on the West Coast, means a level of self-adjustment and maintenance being able to be completed by Airport Staff will be of benefit. • Resilience – The core purpose of HARP is to improve resilience of the Airport, we want assurance that in the event of natural disasters and other events, the Airport’s AGL system will be protected and continue to function without dependence of network systems. • We have a preference for a solar system to be proposed over cabled AGL, but welcome proposals for all systems.
RNZAF Aircraft Structural and Propulsion System Integrity Services

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is seeking information from the market through this Request for Information (RFI). NZDF is interested in Aircraft Structural and Propulsion System Integrity Services—an engineering discipline critical to maintaining the ongoing airworthiness of NZDF aircraft fleets. In a military context, these services differ from civilian applications and include aircraft usage and condition monitoring, fatigue and environmental degradation management, structural life management, and related activities. Further details on these requirements are outlined in the RFI documentation. Suppliers capable of providing relevant information and/or solutions aligned with the specified scope are encouraged to respond. Please note that this is an RFI only. At this stage, NZDF is gathering market information to understand available solutions and may, at its sole discretion, decide whether to initiate a subsequent competitive or closed Request for Tender process. All enquiries must be submitted electronically via the GETS e-tender box function. Questions are welcomed and may be marked as confidential if commercially sensitive however, NZDF may share clarifying information with all respondents where appropriate. NZDF aims to respond to written enquiries within two (2) business days. Suppliers must register on GETS and subscribe to this RFI notice to access the documentation and lodge a response.
Airfield Power and Lighting
Christchurch International Airport Ltd.
Responsibility for Airfield Power and Lighting is expected to transfer from Airways to Christchurch International Airport Limited (CIAL) over the coming year. These assets are critical to safe and reliable airfield operations, supporting aircraft movements during day, night, and low-visibility conditions. CIAL is using this Registration of Interest to better understand the New Zealand supplier market and inform the most appropriate future delivery model for Airfield Power and Lighting maintenance, support, and associated equipment supply. This includes understanding supplier capability, local capacity, service maturity, and the extent to which an integrated or turnkey service model can be delivered in New Zealand. Several inputs are still being confirmed, including asset information, condition data, lifecycle status, replacement priorities, and commercial considerations associated with the potential transfer of assets from Airways. As a result, this ROI is intended to support market engagement and procurement
