Metro Substations Upgrade - HV cable route construction

The Metro Substations Upgrade project is to enable the new RS1 train timetable as proposed by Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC). Due to the planned increase in electric trains, KiwiRail need to construct five new substations to improve resilience and reliability for the power requirements for the new timetable. We wish to obtain the services of a contractor who can construct duct routes and install 33kV and 11kV cables between the Electra Paekākāriki Zone Substation (ZSS), Paekākāriki Traction Substation (TSS), and the new North Junction TSS within the Wellington Electrified Area. The work will be primarily mid-week but there will be requirements to work weekends during ‘Block of Lines’ (BoL) to complete some of the scope within the rail corridor. We are seeking a reliable contractor with the capability, experience and capacity to support the design and deliver all installation and cable pulling activities associated with the cable route solution. Strong civil construction expertise and proven experience in high-voltage cable installation and pulling are critical to this project. This procurement seeks to engage Main Contractor Services for the construction of a new hall/multipurpose building (the Contract Works) for The Board of Trustees (BoT) (The Principal) at Chelsea Primary School (the School). The school is located on the corner of Onetaunga & Balmain Road, Chatswood, Auckland. First opened in 1981, Chelsea Primary School is a co-educational state school catering to students from Years 1 through to 6. The former school hall (now demolished) had reached the end of its serviceable life, and replacement of the building in the same location is required. As depicted in the concept drawings & specifications provided, the new building is currently intended, subject to finalising funding, to have an internal floor area of approximately 330m² and will comprise a hall, kitchen and pantry, storage, and ablution facilities. A timber deck, canopy, and connecting accessible ramp and paving will form the external works. Site Visits are NOT permitted during this ROI stage.

The outcome sought by this procurement is the securing of the services of a suitably qualified and experienced main contractor to undertake the proposed refurbishments works as a part of the remaining 5YA works to be carried out in Blocks 4, 6, 8a, 15 and 17 at Matarau School. The proposed scope of works encompasses 2 x projects from the current 10 Year Property Plan, including Electrical & HVAC (1043-25-02) and Room 4 Joinery, Hall, Bathroom & Exterior Refurbishments (1043-25-06). The proposed works are located at Blocks 4, 6, 8a, 15 and 17. The Electrical & HVAC works for Block 8a, 15 and 17 includes replacing existing lighting fixtures and switchboards to meet current MOE Standards as well as remedying a main earth cable and a conduit in block 17. The Room 4 Joinery, Hall, Bathroom & Exterior Refurbishments include, replacing old, damaged timber decking with new, replacing Block 4’s existing cracked / unable to open/close joinery with new, Bathroom refurbishments at Block 8a / 15 and refurbishments to the Pool Changing Rooms at Block 17.

This panel will supply public and private cloud platform and workload hosting services to support Health NZ's Cloud Modernisation Programme — consolidating fragmented digital infrastructure from 20 former District Health Boards into a modern, resilient national environment. Health NZ currently manages 12,000+ servers across dispersed on-premises, IaaS, and public cloud environments. The Programme aims to migrate approximately 4,000 servers in the initial four-year term, and up to 11,000 in aggregate across the full panel term. What We Are Looking For: Providers capable of delivering enterprise-scale public and/or private cloud platforms, including demonstrated experience hosting large customer environments (4,000+ virtual workloads). Private cloud respondents must be able to provide national coverage across Health NZ sites from Invercargill to Kaitaia.
