Anbudskonkurransen gjelder utskifting av det øvre scenemaskineriet på Studioscenen på Dansens hus i Oslo ifølge den Tekniske Spesifikasjonen. Det nåværende systemet nærmer seg slutten av sin levetid. I tillegg er systemet begrenset i funksjonalitet, mangler posisjonering og lastovervåking, og oppfyller ikke dagens sikkerhetskrav. Andre mål for oppgraderingen inkluderer: * Flere alternativer/punkter for oppheng. * Enklere endringer og kortere omstillingstid mellom produksjoner. * Bedre arbeidsmiljø. Det skal ikke være nødvendig å bruke lift for å flytte taljer eller opphengspunkter. * Muligheter for bevegelse under forestillinger. Prosjektet består av to deler: 1. Bygningsmessige arbeider bestående hovedsakelig av endringer til stålkonstruksjonen i taket samt flytting av bygningstekniske installasjoner. 2. Prosjektering, produksjon og installasjon av scenemaskineriet. Hver prosjektdel er en totalentreprise hvor totalentreprenøren har det fullstendige ansvaret for prosjektering, planlegging, produksjon, installasjon, test, trening og dokumentasjon. Denne konkurransen gjelder prosjektdel 2, levering av scenemaskineriet. Den planlagte løsningen baserer seg på et system med tradisjonelle scenetrekk med tillegg av punkttrekk. Det legges opp til 16 scenetrekk, 2 sidetrekk, og 4 baner for et variabelt antall punkttrekk. Trekkstengene bæres av fire stålwirer eller stålbånd. En stålkonstruksjon dedikert til scenemaskineriet vil bli installert av en annen entreprenør. De eksisterende HEA-bjelkene vil bli demontert. Åtte nye bjelker vil bli montert i hallens lengderetning, plassert slik at fire brukes til scenetrekk og fire til punkttrekk og/eller annet midlertidig utstyr. Maskineriet vil være plassert over balkongen på den ene siden av scenen. En skillevegg vil bli satt opp for å skape et maskinrom og skjerme for lyd mellom vinsjene og scenen.
