Projekt Zeleni krog Benedikta obsega ureditev, obnovo in izgradnjo novih zelenih površin v naselju Benedikt. Cilj investicije je izboljšati kakovost bivanjskega okolja z vzpostavitvijo povezanega sistema zelene infrastrukture, ki omogoča rekreacijo, druženje ter spodbuja zdrav življenjski slog in odpornost na podnebne spremembe. Predvidena je ureditev približno 2,1 ha površin, vključno z zasaditvijo 250 dreves, ureditvijo različnih zasaditev, peščenih poti, urbane opreme ter površin za oddih in rekreacijo. Projekt vključuje tudi ureditev vodotoka in izgradnjo zadrževalnika padavinskih voda za boljše upravljanje voda. Rešitve temeljijo na sonaravnih pristopih in prispevajo k izboljšanju mikroklime ter ekosistemskih funkcij.
