An Online Policies and Procedures service

Lincolnshire County Council

All practitioners in Lincolnshire who work with or have direct contact with Children or Adults must have access to current national legislation and statutory guidance, alongside local policies and procedures and best practice guidance, to enable them to safeguard Children and Adults. This includes staff within Lincolnshire County Council’s (LCC) Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, and professionals from partner organisations and sectors, such as Police, Education, Health and the Voluntary and Community sector. LCC therefore requires access to an online manual to host and manage policies and procedures on behalf of Children’s Services, Adult Services and the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) as well as a range of safeguarding and regulatory manuals to support multi agency access to legislation, practice and policy guidance across Lincolnshire. This service is a critical resource for practitioners across Lincolnshire, ensuring access to up-to-date legislative, statutory and practice guidance that supports safe, effective and compliant service delivery.

BaDC-1727 Retford Buttermarket Food Hall Operator Opportunity

Bassetlaw District Council

Bassetlaw District Council (the Council) wishes to invite tenders to appoint a suitably experienced operator to occupy and operate an indoor street food market within the Retford Town Hall's Buttermarket. The operator will be responsible for all aspects of delivery, vendor management and commercial performance, in return for the right to trade from the premises and an opportunity to influence the final design and fit-out of the space. The Council's objectives in appointing an operator are to: • Animate and activate Retford town centre • Support independent and start-up food businesses • Provide a high-quality, diverse and affordable food offer • Increase footfall and dwell time • Support the evening and weekend economy • Deliver social and economic value for the local area The Buttermarket is anticipated to be available to the operator for commercial operation from Winter 2026/Spring 2027 subject to detailed design agreement and construction programme. The Council envisions the successful provider from this tender to join as a partner through this design process. This interim period for design and Council construction will ensure the final installation is fit for purpose and encourages optimal commercial operation for the appointed end user. Location Located on the Market Square, Retford Town Hall is well positioned to amplify the offerings of the town, however, the site is currently greatly underutilised, and its facilities require significant modernisation. The Buttermarket is the ground floor premise of the wider Retford Town Hall with its own level and independent access along the Town Hall Yard and direct access to the Market Square. There is ample area (~260m2) to enhance this space to provide a series of catering focused opportunities while also creating an inclusive communal space, designed to host events that appeal across all age groups. According to a recent market summary of Retford undertaken by CACI, the town boasts a sizable catchment area with a tota

Deep Scientific Diving and ARMS Recovery Services in the Maldives and Seychelles

University of Plymouth

The University of Plymouth invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of specialist services to support the delivery of two marine research projects in the Republic of Maldives and the Seychelles. The projects involve the recovery of Autonomous Reef Monitoring Systems (ARMS) from depths of approximately 40m, 60m, and 90m. The ARMS units will have been deployed for approximately 36 months prior to recovery and each unit will weigh approximately 20kg. ARMS units are stacked plastic settlement panels used to measure marine biodiversity. The units will be deployed on the seabed using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and left in situ for the duration of the monitoring period. Upon recovery, a bespoke containment enclosure must be fitted to each ARMS unit to prevent the loss of biological specimens. The enclosed unit will then be carefully recovered to the surface and transferred to the support vessel for processing and analysis by the University's scientific team. Three ARMS units will be deployed at each depth (40m, 60m, and 90m) at each site. In the Maldives, three sites will be monitored, resulting in a total of 27 deployed ARMS units. In the Seychelles, one site will be monitored, resulting in a further nine units. The total requirement therefore covers the recovery of 36 ARMS units across both projects. The University anticipates that recovery operations may require mixed-gas technical diving, potentially utilising Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) systems. However, the University is also interested in exploring alternative technical solutions that do not rely on diver intervention. Recovery operations are anticipated to take place between January and February 2030. The successful contractor would be expected to: Obtain all necessary permits and approvals required to undertake the work within the relevant jurisdictions. Produce and maintain all required safety management documentation. Hold appropriate insu
