(j) Removal and replacement of dive tower platform flooring. (k) Removal of guard rails at the 3m, 5m, 7.5m and 10m dive tower (Platform B) and replacement with stainless steel guard rails and glazing. (l) Removal of guard rails at the 3m springboard platform (Platform A) and replacement with stainless steel guard rails and glazing. (m) Concrete repairs to the: (i) pool deck, (ii) tank walls and floor, (iii) diving tower (Platform B), and (iv) 3m springboard platform structure (Platform A). D2. SCOPE OF WORK D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Supply and Delivery of a Bus Tow Tractor in accordance with Detailed Specification 26018. D2.2 Notwithstanding D2.1, in the event that operational changes result in substantial changes to the requirements for Work, the City reserves the right to alter the type or quantity of work performed under this Contract, or to terminate the Contract, upon thirty (30) Calendar Days written notice by the Contract Administrator. In such an event, no claim may be made for damages on the ground of loss of anticipated profit on Work. D2.3 Any material, labour or components not specifically mentioned or included herein, but may be required to complete, perfect and place the equipment in successful operation, shall be furnished by the Contractor as though specifically mentioned in these Contract Documents. The Contractor shall supply the equipment and all components and all features that are normally considered to be standard on that equipment, unless specifically excluded in the Form N: Detailed Specifications. D2.4 Unless specifically stated otherwise in the Form N: Detailed Specifications, only new, unused equipment of current manufacture shall be accepted. D2.5 Further to C7, if at any time during the 12 (twelve) month period following the award of the Contract, the City requires additional quantities of the Items, the City may request the Contractor to supply up to one-hundred percent (100%) additional quantities as extra Work at the unit prices set out in the Contract. The Contractor may decline to supply the additional quantities without penalty.

D2. SCOPE OF WORK D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Provision of Hourly Rates for Hired Equipment and Dump Trucks for the 2026-2027 Snow Season. D2.2 The City shall be the sole judge of what Work will be performed under this Contract. D2.3 The City reserves the right to issue other Tenders for equipment or dump trucks. D2.4 The City reserves the right to by-pass a lower Bid piece of equipment or dump truck, if it is deemed inadequate for that particular job. D2.5 A map of the Bidding area boundaries for snow equipment is attached to this Specification, for reference in Appendix A. D2.6 The Work shall be done on an "as required" basis during the term of the Contract. D2.6.1 The type and quantity of Work to be performed under this Contract shall be as authorized from time to time by the Contract Administrator and/or Users. D2.6.2 Subject to C7, the City shall have no obligation under the Contract to purchase any quantity of any item in excess of its actual operational requirements.

The Ottawa Hospital – New Campus Development (NCD) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a qualified inspection body, accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) under the Inspection Body Accreditation Program – Medical Gas Piping Systems sub-program, to provide a comprehensive inspection and final testing of the medical gas pipeline systems, including all components and accessories, and certify that they are installed in accordance with CSA Z7396.1. Once the systems installation is finalized and compliance has been determined, the qualified inspection body shall provide a letter of certification to The Ottawa Hospital and the installation contractor.

1.1 SUMMARY OF WORK .1 2 Architecture Inc. is soliciting bids from General Contractors on behalf of RRC Polytech for the renovation of existing stair and bridge guardrails at select locations on campus, including the installation of guardrail extensions and infill glazing within existing openings to address programmatic safety concerns. .2 RRC Polytech is proposing upgrades to its existing guardrails and openings throughout the building to enhance safety beyond current building code requirements. While the existing guardrails are code compliant, the intent of this work is to exceed minimum code by adding guardrail extensions, infilling select openings with glazing and modifying stair and bridge guardrail conditions to address safety concerns. The work includes new steel framing, mesh or glazed guardrail extensions, selective removal of existing top rails where required, and infill glazing to improve safety while maintaining air flow and acoustic connectivity. Construction will occur while the campus remains operational. When working within occupied areas of the building, the Contractor shall coordinate with RRC Polytech and take all reasonable measures to minimize disruption to building users, including noise, dust, and impacts to circulation and program activities. The project is divided into Phases 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D, with Phase 1D identified as a separate price. The building permit was issued on June 23, 2026. Upon award of the Contract, 2 Architecture Inc. will transfer the building permit to the successful Bidder. Refer to the Scope in Front End Specification dated August 19, 2026, Architectural IFC / Tendering Drawings dated January 13, 2026, and Structural IFC dated December 23, 2025.
