The Children and Families service in the London Borough of Hackney plans to engage with organisations from the voluntary, community, and independent sectors throughout this year to shape the procurement of a Framework for Disabled Children's Services in 2026. This market engagement is in preparation for the upcoming procurement. The services will be categorised into 5 separate Lots: Home and Community Based Outreach Support Services delivering personalised support both in the family home and enabling disabled children to access their local community, facilities and services. This includes support to access and use universal services offered to all children and young people. Specialist Outreach Support Offer a structured program of social, recreational, and developmental activities suitable for children with a wide range of disabilities, including severe learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities. Provide specialist support for children with complex health needs, including those, mobility assistance, increased supervision and monitoring, or behavior management strategies . Group Based Support - group activities will include age appropriate social activities that will take place either within specially designed provision for disabled children and/or through outings and support to access universal activities, facilities and services. This will include Holiday Play Schemes, Weekend activities and After School/Evening activities. Domiciliary Care - services delivering personal care for disabled children in their own homes. These activities will support disabled children to get ready for their day ahead or preparing for bed. Replacement and Refurbishment of Air Handling Units and Building Management System for the Leisure Centres

The London Borough of Southwark (LBS) is undertaking a project to replace and refurbish some of the existing Air Handling Units and Building Management Systems across five of its Leisure Centres (Dulwich Leisure Centre, Camberwell Leisure Centre, Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, The Castle Leisure Centre and Surrey Docks Water Sports & Fitness Centre). The goal of the project is to replace the Air Handling Units with modern energy efficient systems and upgrade the Building Management Systems with the latest systems that will integrate better with the newly upgraded mechanical and electrical systems upgrade being delivered within the leisure centres most particularly the new air sourced and water sourced heating systems. In April 2015, the MOD signed a thirteen year contract with Leidos Europe Ltd to provide the procurement and inventory management of commodity items (as well as the storage and distribution services), that were historically provided in-house by the Logistic Commodities and Services Operating Centre. Leidos, working with the MOD, will transform the way these services are delivered to ensure requirements continue to be met whilst providing best value for money for the department. The organisation delivering these services is known as Team Leidos. Team Leidos would like to make markets aware that we are intending to consider approaches that could fulfill our Supply of Patient Insulating Mats requirements. It is the aim of this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice (PMEN) to encourage companies, suppliers, or manufacturers to make us aware and provide as much information as they are comfortable with, to help decide the future strategy for the range. Team Leidos wishes to generate interest, information and views with other companies to understand the current market innovation and gain useful intelligence that can help our requirement. VRU - Provision of Hospital Based Youth Work Services

Since 2014, City Hall has invested in embedding youth workers into London’s hospitals, first in the four Major Trauma Centres (MTCs), and subsequently (in 2018) in eight of London’s Accident & Emergency (A&Es) Units. Since 2023, this programme of work, referred to collectively as hospital-based youth work (HBYW), has been overseen and managed by the VRU, although VRU investment in HBYW extends back to its establishment in 2019. Prior to the VRU, this programme and investment had been overseen and managed by MOPAC within City Hill, aligned to the Mayor’s Police & Crime Plan (PCP). The HBYW programme represents a violence reduction initiative, heavily aligned to the VRU’s own violence reduction strategies, most notably: the trusted relationship between a young person, and their youth worker, as well as the concept of place, reaching young people where they are, and, in this case, leveraging a reachable moment in the lives of young people to break patterns of violence and harm. Indicative Contract Value: £4,633,792 ex VAT for the initial contract period, with a potential extension value of up to £4,633,792. Contract Duration: January 2027 – March 2029 (27 months), with the option to extend for a further 24 months. Service Delivery Period: April 2027 – March 2029, with the option to extend to March 2031 Description of the service The purpose of embedding these youth workers is to support children and young people who have been impacted by violence and exploitation; youth workers are there to offer a relatable stabilising presence in crisis or distress, and help young people cope and recover from the trauma of physical or mental injury and disrupt future patterns of violence and harm The service engages young people aged 11–25 who present at Major Trauma Centres (MTCs) and Accident & Emergency (A&E) departments as victims of violence or exploitation, or who are identified as being at risk of future harm.
