Training Provision to Support Educated Other Than At School (EOTAS)

The Council is aiming to provide a suite of educational qualifications in addition to what they provide at the Educated Other Than AT School (EOTAS) provision that shall offer practical work life experience to the Council’s most vulnerable children in EOTAS and mainstream children, so they have every opportunity to achieve qualifications that support them into the wider world of work or a college pathway. Courses can include technical and vocational qualifications. Qualifications and courses can range from entry level upwards, from accredited to non-accredited. The courses will be delivered from a mixture of the new Centre for Skills for Learning in Pontllanfraith and external provision depending on the course provision. Roedd yr adroddiad a gyhoeddwyd yn 2021, Cryfhau a hyrwyddo cydraddoldeb a hawliau dynol yng Nghymru, hefyd o’r farn bod angen cryfhau dealltwriaeth y cyhoedd yn hyn o beth. / This commission is being undertaken in a context where public understanding of human rights is challenged by highly polarised debate and persistent misconceptions, reinforced by the speed and reach of online and social media. In Wales, internal survey evidence suggests a sizeable proportion of people view human rights as conditional and linked to deservingness and citizenship. The 2021 Strengthening and Advancing Equality and Human Rights in Wales report also identified a need to strengthen public understanding. This commission is one practical delivery step within Welsh Government’s wider programme of work to respond to those findings and support a more accurate and informed public conversation about human rights, in a way that young people find credible.
5499 - Cwmcarn Primary School - Damp Proofing Works

You are invited to submit a tender for Damp Proofing Works at Cwmcarn Primary School. The scope of the project is fully described in Appendix 1 but in summary the scope is: - New tanking, plaster boarding and skim finish to internal walls - Repoint stonework/brick windows details - Redecoration and floor protections - Check RWG’s and refit where necessary. - Protect areas not included in these works. - Works must be completed during School Summer holidays 20th July – 28th August 2026 -All site visits must be pre-arranged via the school, you will not be allowed to visit the school unless this has been carried out.
5512 - St. Martins Comprehensive School - Roof Works

You are invited to submit a tender for the replacement of the administration block (266) roof. The scope of the project is fully described in Appendix 1 but in summary the scope is: - Provide and erect fixed scaffolding with built in stairs, hoists for materials, and including additional protection over all maintained entrance/exit and fire escape doors, double boarded fans, kick boards, brick guards on handrails, netting and any post protection padding as may be necessary, etc. - Pitched Roof Renewal of block 266. - All works must be carried out and completed over the summer period between 20th July – 28th August 2026. - Allow for all necessary protection to existing flat and pitched roof areas not included in these works. - Elevations to be fully scaffolded, must include fixed staircase and internal barrier to floor edge. - Heras anti climb fencing to be erected around the complete perimeter of the scaffolding, a minimum 1-2m outside base of scaffolding, to provide complete segregation between works and building/school users. - No Doorways, gates or walkways are to be blocked off during the execution of these works without the prior written consent of the contract administrator. - To the areas noted on drawing number A001, supply and install new roof coverings including all new lead gutters, valleys, flashings, structural roof battens, breathable under cloak, and all necessary ventilation, etc. - All to be as the attached technical specification. - Lead to be Code 5 to gutters and valleys with Code 4 to be used everywhere else. - Form new lead collars and soakers where existing pipework penetrates the roof. - Contractor to allow to safely isolate, remove and refit any cables necessary to complete the works.

The scope of the project is fully described in Appendix 1 but in summary the scope is: - Provide and erect fixed scaffolding with built in stairs, hoists for materials, and including additional protection over all maintained entrance/exit and fire escape doors, double boarded fans, kick boards, brick guards on handrails, netting and any post protection padding as may be necessary, etc. - Flat Roof Renewal on upper block. - Replace 3NO. high level windows. - Replace 2NO. roof lanterns. Bauder Euroglaze or similar approved. - Replace rainwater goods to perimeter of new roof. - New fascia board. - All works must be carried out and completed over the summer period between 20th July – 28th August 2026. - Allow for all necessary protection to roof areas not included in these works. - Elevations to be fully scaffolded, must include fixed staircase and internal barrier to floor edge. - Heras anti climb fencing to be erected around the complete perimeter of the scaffolding, a minimum 1-2m outside base of scaffolding, to provide complete segregation between works and building/school users. - No Doorways, gates or walkways are to be blocked off during the execution of these works without the prior written consent of the contract administrator. - To the areas noted on drawings A001, A002 & A003 provide and fit new reinforced bitumen membrane warm roof system. - All to be as the attached specification.
