EOI for Partnership Opportunity Canterbury Provincial Chambers Buildings

Christchurch City Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from parties interested in a potential Opportunity relating to the restoration, activation, management, and long-term stewardship of the Canterbury Provincial Council Buildings (CPCB). This EOI is an exploratory, non-binding market engagement process. It is not a procurement process and will not result in the award of a contract at this stage. Its purpose is to inform the Council’s understanding of market interest, capability, potential partnership structures, and key commercial and delivery considerations prior to any decision on next steps. As one of New Zealand’s most significant heritage landmarks, the CPCB presents an opportunity to consider how heritage preservation, activation, public value, and long-term sustainability might be advanced through an appropriate future arrangement.
Temporary Adjustment to PE Pipe Testing Requirements Under Current Resin Supply Constraints

This change responds to significant global disruption in polyethylene (PE) resin supply, which is affecting the number of extrusion batches delivered to projects and the associated testing burden.

SH76 Brougham Street Corridor

This contract is for the delivery of the SH76 Brougham Street Corridor Improvements Project, an urban corridor upgrade within the Roads of Regional Significance (RoRS) programme. The works include pavement and surfacing improvements, intersection upgrades, enhanced crossings, intelligent transport systems, streetscape works and associated utility coordination, including watermain works delivered on behalf of Christchurch City Council. Given the live urban environment and multiple third-party interfaces, the contract requires a strong focus on staging, traffic management, stakeholder coordination, and minimising disruption to road users, businesses, and the community. The contract has been classified under NZTA’s Prequalification System as Surfacing – Level A (2A) and Construction – Level A (4A). Tenderers must hold the required NZTA prequalification levels to be eligible to tender. In addition, watermain works must be undertaken by a contractor approved under CCC’s Three Waters Physical Works Panel, and the Orion 66kV utility crossing works must be completed by an Orion prequalified 66kV contractor. Electronic copies of the RFT documentation are attached to this advertisement. All tenderer’s queries are to be submitted through the GETS Questions and Answers. Any queries that fall outside of the formal Q&A and that require urgent attention, must be directed to NZTA’s point of contact, as stated in the main RFT document. All responses to tender queries/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the GETS addenda. Tender submissions shall be uploaded to GETS eTender box in two separate files. The GETS file upload limit is 50MB. The files should be labelled: - Supplier Company Name - File No 1 - Contract Number - Proposal excluding Price - Supplier Company Name - File No 2 - Contract Number - Price (pdf format PLUS excel spreadsheet Schedule of Prices) Tender submissions will only be accepted electronically via the GETS eTender Box.
