The Authority is seeking to procure a specialist leisure operator to operate, maintain and deliver leisure services, as set out in the Tender Notice, Specification, Contract and supporting procurement documents provided on the procurement portal. The Authority is seeking Suppliers with suitable experience to operate and maintain the facilities on behalf of the Authority. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and strategic organisation to develop a vision for the further enhancement to the delivery of leisure services in Cumberland. The Authority's expectation is that this opportunity will suit sector specialists with the capability of self-operating all required elements of the service (e.g., sport and leisure service delivery and technical and facilities management) but will be prepared to consider and assess any mixed economy bid that may involve sub-contracting certain elements with the Authority's consent. The Council is seeking bids at Initial Tender ('ISIT') stage through appropriately qualified and experienced operators of facilities that can deliver community health and wellbeing outcomes through the operation of services. This Tender is split into two Lots and Suppliers must bid for both lots.

Leesland CE (C) Infant School - Boiler Upgrade

Remove the existing boiler plant and replace with a new natural gas fired condensing boiler installation. Remove existing flue systems and install new flue systems to serve the new gas fired equipment. Connect the new gas fired equipment to the existing heating circuits, MCW, Gas Supply pipework, and electrical power. Redundant boilers, gas and electrical components, pipework and cable will be removed from site. Allow for all associated asbestos removal work as identified within the asbestos R&D survey report. Allow to all BWIC make good including holes/surfaces/paintwork/fire stopping left by the works.

In addition to the boiler replacement works carry out remedial works to the ventilation and heating with the Aviary Room (Room 44) within the building. The remedial works include repairs to the existing Monodraught Suncatcher units, provision of supplementary mechanical ventilation and remedial modifications to the existing LST radiator installation.

The provision of a support service for families affected by substance misuse

A remote support service offering support directly to adults affected by a loved one's drug or alcohol use. Support sessions are offered in the comfort of people's own homes and are delivered via Zoom or telephone. The contract commences on 01/04/26 and ends on 31/03/27.
