What the YCS does Established in September 2017 as a distinct part of HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), the Youth Custody Service (YCS) is responsible for the Children and Young People Secure Estate, for children and young people between 10-17 in England and Wales. This includes: • the commissioning and management of outsourced youth custody services and sites; • the operational running of public sector sites; and • placing children and young people who are remanded or sentenced to custody. The Children and Young People Secure Estate is currently made up of four Young Offender Institutions for boys aged 15-17, one Secure Training Centre, eight Secure Children’s Homes and one Secure School. The YCS is dedicated to working with a wide range of central and local government partners and other agencies to improve the life chances for young people, bringing children’s voices into service design and to learning from the latest research and best practice. Vision and priorities HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) protects the public and prevents victims by changing lives. We work with our partners to carry out the sentences given by the courts, either in custody or the community and reduce reoffending by rehabilitating people in our care. The ambitions of the YCS match those of the wider HMPPS, however, given the distinct and often complex needs of our young cohort, we interpret these principles specifically to the children and young people in our care. The YCS’ vision is: “Working together to make sure every child in our care is safe, supported and strives for a better future, to reduce reoffending and protect the public.” The YCS aims to be a provider of high-quality children’s services, where skilled, enthusiastic staff have the tools and capability to work with children in order to meet their individual needs, so that they are better able to lead rewarding, constructive lives upon their release. The Scottish Government intend to commission a contract which provides administrative services for the delivery of it’s shared equity home ownership schemes as well as the ongoing administrative work related to after sales for all of it’s shared equity legacy portfolio. Cash collection and Cash in transit Services

Transport for London (TfL) is conducting a market engagement exercise by way of a Market Sounding Questionnaire for its cash collection and cash in transit services. TfL accepts cash for either travel ticket and/or Oyster card purchase/top up at London Underground stations, via DLR ticket machines, at several bus stations and five (station based) Visitor Centres. This cash needs to be collected and deposited to TfL's banking contractor within specified time windows. There are just under 300 London Underground stations, locations in Greater London, Essex and Hertfordshire DLR stations, and around 50 locations at DLR stations bus stations and Visitor Centres. The services are expected to support the safe handling, transportation, and management of cash generated from operational activities. Given that over the term of the Agreement , TfGM's Ticketing Schemes will be subject to frequent revision and development, re-configuration and extension of the Merchant Acquiring Service, Payment Gateway Service (Option), Merchant Acquiring Equipment (Option), and Open Banking Service (Option) may be required to a number of additional transport and associated modes (in addition to the modes that are currently within the scope of the of existing TfGM Ticketing Schemes). Consequently, the Merchant Acquirer, Payment Gateway, Equipment and Open Banking Service Agreement ("Agreement") may be deployed to support Ticketing Schemes on (but not limited to) Tram, Light Rail, Bus, Heavy Rail, Taxi, Car-Club, Car-Hire, Parking and Park and Ride, Micro mobility, Active Travel and other travel modes. The Supplier shall provide a Merchant Acquiring Service that shall include the: • set up and configuration of the Merchant Acquiring Service; • processing, settlement and accounting of payments (one off and recurring payments) made with payment networks (such as Visa and Mastercard) enabling the Authority to accept debit or credit cards for payment of goods or services, as well as alternative payment methods (such as Direct Debit); • support for the Authority's e-Commerce, Retail, Transit and Merchant Initiated payment channels, and Card Present and Card Not Present payment methods; • integration with the Authority's Payment Gateway Services (Supplier provided and other third party) and other issuing banks facilitating Authorisation, Payment and Set
