North Yorkshire Council has delivered a biennial Health, Wellbeing and Lifestyle Survey for children and young people since 2006. The survey and associated reporting have been developed to provide reliable data that supports the identification of priorities for education, health and wellbeing services, and informs planning, commissioning and resource allocation across North Yorkshire. Survey findings are shared with participating schools, Children and Young People's Service teams, elected members and partner organisations. The reports are used to support strategic planning, service evaluation and the targeting of resources to improve outcomes for children and young people. The Authority is now seeking information from providers capable of delivering a school-based survey across primary, secondary and special schools throughout North Yorkshire. The survey is undertaken every two years with pupils in Years 2, 6, 8, 10 and 12. Responses from recent surveys have typically ranged between 15,000 and 17,000 pupils.

Consequently, the Commission wishes to undertake some early market engagement to help it determine how best it might structure an invitation to tender for the provision of research services that will enable it to accelerate the process by which it can fill the evidence gaps that have been identified within the Evidence Roadmaps that the Commission's Research and Statistics Team have developed. About the Commission The Gambling Commission is an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. As part of our procurement planning and market assessment activities, we are undertaking preliminary market engagement to gain a better understanding of the solutions, innovations, and service models currently available within the marketplace. We are therefore inviting suppliers with a proven track record of successfully delivering managed patient experience and feedback service to NHS Community and Mental Health Trusts (including the Friends and Families Test) to participate in pre-tender discussions. The Trust is only interested in market engagement with suppliers who have extensive NHS experience in managing patient engagement on behalf of large NHS Trusts, who can evidence implementations within the last 3 years, and integrations with Rio and or SystemOne, DSPT standards, ISO27001 and Cyber essentials plus. The purpose of these discussions is to help inform the Trust's future requirements, understand current market capabilities, and explore potential approaches to service delivery ahead of any formal procurement exercise. A limited number of Supplier engagement meetings will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams on 15 July 2026. Wakefield Council employs approximately 5,000 staff (excluding Schools) across five directorates: Children and Young People (CYP), Adults and Health, Resources, Chief Executive, and Regeneration Environment and Economic Growth. Recent staff survey completion rates have declined from 43% in 2021 to 31.6% in 2023, with a target of 50% completion rates going forward. Internal insight shows high willingness to participate, but key barriers include concerns about anonymity, limited visible action following surveys, accessibility challenges, and overly complex reporting.
