Design Advisory Services_LDRR

VIA Rail Canada is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced design advisory firm to provide independent design review, assessment, and strategic advisory services in support of its Long Distance, Regional and Remote (LDRR) Fleet Renewal Program. The selected Supplier will support VIA throughout the development of its future fleet by reviewing, evaluating, and helping optimize design solutions proposed by the rolling stock manufacturer, with a focus on interior, industrial, and exterior design, accessibility, passenger and employee experience, hospitality environments, wayfinding, colour, material and finish (CMF), and overall design integration. Through participation in design reviews, collaborative workshops, technical assessments, and stakeholder engagement activities, the Supplier will provide expert recommendations and decision-support services to help ensure that the evolving fleet design aligns with VIA's operational requirements, customer experience objectives, accessibility commitments, brand identity, and long-term service vision. The Supplier will perform its mandate in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment involving VIA, the rolling stock manufacturer, and other advisors retained by VIA, while acting solely in an independent advisory capacity.
