Supply, Delivery and Removal of Salvaged Vehicles

This Request for Standing Offer (“Solicitation”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Minister of Pubic Service Delivery on behalf of the Department of Municipal & Northern Relations, to prospective Vendors to qualify for the Supply, Delivery and Removal of Salvaged Vehicles as further described in Section A of the Solicitation Particulars (Appendix A) and Scope of the Deliverables (Appendix B). The Manitoba Emergency Services College (MESC) requires a reliable source of salvaged vehicles to support practical firefighter training programs, including vehicle extrication and vehicle fire suppression exercises. Through this solicitation, Manitoba intends to establish a contractual arrangement with a qualified Vendor to supply, deliver, and, where applicable, remove salvaged vehicles on an as-required basis throughout the training year. Vehicles will be ordered periodically between September and June based on training schedules and operational requirements. The anticipated annual requirement is approximately 40 vehicles consisting of four-door cars and SUVs, two-door cars, and minivans. Vehicles must meet the technical and safety requirements outlined in Appendix B.
