The Work of this Contract, designated A23-12 - Sheppard West Substation – Leak Remediation, consists of: The supply of labour, equipment, and materials to complete the Work as depicted in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, adding waterproofing to the existing Substation basement exterior wall, the existing west electrical Cable Chamber (maintenance hole) and the duct banks entering the Substation basement, improve floor drainage within the Substation basement area, which contains energized communication and high-voltage electrical cables at potentials greater than 750 Volts. Additionally, the scope of Work includes power washing and videotaping for all existing drainage inside the Substation basement, west and east Cable Chambers (maintenance holes) containing exposed energized high-voltage cables as indicated on the Contract Drawings.
