The work of this contract, designated WT60-17 Lakeshore Garage Convault Diesel Tank Removal, includes: • decommissioning and removing the existing Convault diesel aboveground storage tank, associated piping, pumps, controls, dispensers, and accessories and modifying and relocating gasoline tank piping and conduits; • disposing of remaining equipment; and reconfiguring the existing fuel monitoring system and maintaining fuel management system functionality. • Additional work includes removing the existing diesel tank foundation and restoring the area with asphalt paving and drainage; • testing and recommissioning modified gasoline tank systems; • repairing wall and floor penetrations, resurfacing affected pavements; restoring line markings while safely managing hazardous materials.
