Security Operations Centre Managed Service Provider (SOC MSP)

Yukon Energy Corporation (YEC) is seeking proposals from qualified service providers for the provision of a Security Operations Centre Managed Service Provider (SOC MSP) solution. YEC is seeking to establish a managed security operations capability that provides continuous threat detection, monitoring, triage and response support across its information technology environment. The successful Proponent will also support the design, implementation and ongoing operation of a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capability and provide ongoing knowledge transfer and mentorship to YEC's internal cybersecurity team. YEC operates critical electrical generation and transmission infrastructure across the Yukon, including remote and unmanned facilities, and maintains both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The proposed Service must recognize the unique cybersecurity, operational, data sovereignty and service-continuity requirements associated with this environment. The initial Contract term is anticipated to run from approximately December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2028, with options for two additional one-year extensions.
